We initially asked if we could check in at 3, since we would arrive sooner than expected. I called and was told they would let me know if the unit would be ready early and it would be $50. I never heard back, so we headed there at the scheduled time of 4. When we arrived we had one unit number in the email and one unit number in the text. I had to call again to confirm which unit was correct. When we walked into the unit we were shocked to find it was extremely dirty. The bedding was stained, the floors were not swept or mopped, the couch cushions were not put on properly and there was a large stain on the side of one cushion, the rug in the living area was so old and nasty when you rubbed your shoe across it hair, dirt, was clumping onto the floor. I could go on.I called to find out what was going on and the representative told me it should have been cleaned. They sent a new cleaning crew. We felt as if we needed to stay and make sure the bedding was changed and the unit was ready for us to actually stay in. We lost several hours of our first night due to this issue and it started our vacation on a very bad note. I was told I’d be contacted in 1-2 days about some sort of remediation for our experience, but never heard from them. On the initial call they said having another cleaning crew come actually clean was sufficient enough not to move us to another unit. It does not seem like our concerns were something they thought needed more attention. We would.not stay here again.
