"Cockroach in bathroom in the middle of the night. Awful smell from the bathroom drain that we ended up putting small towels over it to stop the smell. Mould spores and mould on curtains in lounge room. They put us in a room directly across from the golf club and restaurant. From 4.30am very loud noises and people congregating behind my bedroom window talking loudly. Told reception who couldn’t care less and that’s it’s a golf resort so what do you expect. Still they are happy to take your $400...

"Very unique boutique property with the all the cafes, shops, restaurants - everything downstairs was great. Room was very clean & with very cool shared balconies, all of this & close to the beach, we will definitely be back."

"Location is great. Issue with Expedia listing, lake view is not really a full lake view like on the photos. The view is reality is once your outside on the small balcony poke half your body out, you have a very small side view. Could have booked anywhere else for the price per night."

"Hotel staff all so friendly and sat evening band were excellent. Noise stopped at 11pm and slept so soundly! Will come again!"

"Accomodation cleanliness "

"We had a very relaxing stay at Kookaburra cottage. The cottage really lived up to its name with lots of Kookaburras to watch when chilling out on the balcony. Beautiful location with lots of trees, birds and green lawns all around. The extras of fruit, bread and spreads provided by the hosts on arrival were very much appreciated. Thanks for the lovely stay!"

"The room was spotless, the receptionist was lovely and very informative. The grounds themselves were absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Easy to get to and parking close to the rooms. Breakfast was lovely and so was the lady in the kitchen Would definitely recommend if you want no frills accommodation and total relaxation and peacefulness"

"Rooms are decent with young family. Needs refurbishing. Cupboards have all fallen apart. Not much amenities. "
