"Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...

Didn’t read anywhere about the parking issue they have outsourced it, so you have to pay extra for that And be careful if you don’t because it’s got APR cameras, not quite what you expect in the Lake District"

"Lovely building and location - out of the busy but not too far! Nicely decorated and furnished albeit it does feel like a walk if you’re in one of the 400+ numbered rooms! Ate in the brasserie one evening food was good but the battered fish, whilst plentiful, was maybe a bit “soggy”. The breakfasts were excellent and if you don’t see anything you like then maybe best stay at home! Room was huge as was the comfy bed. "Lake nice. Rooms like any Ibis but too expensive. Small swimming pool we didn't use it. And paying extra for amenities and Internet it's just a terrible idea. Why don't they just ad 15 pounds to the price of the room and don't act like a low cost airline. The resort is not low cost. Brilliant lake view from the Lodge. Ugly restaurant and bar. "It somehow lacked the elegance we expected. The bar and restaurant were much like an upmarket Wetherspoon's so we went to the local Wetherspoon's instead. The exterior wasn't the stark white we expected from the photos and some of the doors were badly rust stained. The accommodation was ok but the gap between bed and wall was too small for comfort. "

"We had an absolutely amazing stay at this property. The staff were so helpful and polite, they took fantastic care of us. The hotel and surrounding area were beautiful and well kept, the rooms were comfortable with plenty of space and accessible showers. Breakfast was included with the stay and was a delicious buffet, and dinner in the restaurant was fantastic. When we return to Windermere we will absolutely be coming back to stay here again. "
