Perfect Dog-Friendly Cozy Beach Getaway

We LOVED staying at the Clay Miller house! It was very clean, extremely well furnished with everything you might need during your stay, the beds were comfortable, the location is great and close to so many things including the beach. This has been our favorite place to stay yet! We would highly recommend this home!

Great place in a great location. Only downside was Vacasa's tight-fisted management - not enough TP and 10 am check-out. But we had a wonderful time.

Seaside vacation

The house was very nice and clean. The only issue I had was my wife and I were in the upstairs bedroom and it got very warm during the night. Also they needed some kind of sun shade over the large window in the bedroom, the sun shines directly onto the bed as soon as it comes up, no chance to sleep in.we ran out of propane for the grill the first night and the manager replaced it first thing in the morning. Overall the house was very nice and a great place to stay for a family vacation.

The neighborhood is charming as is the house. The access to the bay and beach are excellent.

Love the area and property. Several lights were out. I texted and was told this would be handled the next day. It never was. The house is old and needs floor repair in downstairs bathroom. The sliding glass door does Not keep all of the want in tub. When I texted about the lights I asked about the amount of toilet paper: 3 rolls for 6 people for 1 week. Was told this was standard. Also, only 3 pods for the dishwasher. For a week. So we had to leave a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. Being petty over small things is not customer friendly. It is a charming place and comfortable. Being stingy with daily supplies serves no purpose. I recommend the home despite these small grievances!

Nice on the outside but not inside

The house smelled like mold and there was water damage in laundry room. The master bedroom smelled like mint or Begay (attempt to hide mold smell). The furnace does not work well as house was either too hot or too cold,. Ants in dining room (on table) one kitchen cabinet door is hanging on hing and guest bathroom door does not close all the way.

Clay Miller house review

Comfortable beds, lots of towels. Easy to access with code. Loved the deck and comfortable chairs….outdoor table needs some sprucing up….lots of moss. The kitchen was missing some essentials like black pepper, Saran Wrap and aluminum foil. All in all, super cozy and quaint. Wood have loved more firewood to be available…2 pieces doesn’t go far on chilly days! Will be back for sure!

Nice roomy beach home. Had a few older home issues (plumbing and loud heater) but over all we enjoyed our stay very much. We drove a few minutes to the beach. We are not sure where the path to the beach in the photos was, we never found it. Everything you need for kitchen, laundry and bathroom was provided. Thank you!

Peaceful Retreat

Perfect getaway

Beautiful home in a quiet, clean and safe neighborhood. Short walk to the beach to explore for hours with your family and pets. 5 minute drive to the hustle and bustle of Seaside. I brought 4 kids of all ages and a dog and there was room to spare. Only word of warning is the upstairs temp is vastly warmer than downstairs so have the folks that like to be cool to sleep stay out of the master! Over all fantastic trip and we will be back. We are dying to try our luck at crabbing!!
