Property was beautiful. There is a bear that lives very close by with her two cubs that we saw almost daily. She is smart and tries to open car doors to get in your vehicle so keep your doors LOCKED !! Luckily ours were locked when she came by, but the neighbors weren’t so lucky and she did some pretty significant damage to the inside of their truck. Overall amazing place, and the customer service was great. We had some small issues, but Justin and his team were on it and made sure our stay was never impacted. Book the house, you’ll love it.

I never do reviews. Honestly as long as the place is decently as advertised, Im all good. I want to save someone the aggravation we had. We rented due to decent price for size and the fact that it said in listing it had a travel crib and high chair. We had a 1 yo with us and were loaded down.Upon entering the cabin, we searched every inch and could not find the pack and play. There is a nice high chair. All things considered, I personally would MUCH rather there be a pack and play. We could not limit his space, we had very hard time getting him to sleep. We worried about safety constantly. I included pics from my chat on vrbo with the management company and also the info the management company sent me. After waiting about an hour for a response about both excessive heat in the cabin, and lack of pack and play the management guy says it isn't in the vrbo listing. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt it was. He changed the listing while waiting to message back. The crew never got back to me about a playpen. We never got a credit or partial refund. Place was clean. Rooms decent. Deck boards others complained of seem to have been replaced. Basement smells of mildew(?), but my daughter and boyfriend didnt seem to mind. There IS a crockpot and some basic kit hen things. Similar to other places I've sayed Driveway is hard to get in and out. I wouldnt stay here again due to cabin being too hot and the management company.

49th birthday!

The house was beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves. They checked on us. They made sure we had everything we need as an infant items. They had the dishes. They even had games. The view was beautiful. I have no complaints. It was a wonderful stay and I will stay again and again

Cute Cabin, Mediocre Management

Extracts from the notes we sent to the property manager, they were responsive but denied any sort of recompence and were uninterested in making things right. I would not recommend using this management company in the future.We had a wonderful time, and the cabin was cozy and cute, but we did have several issues that were disappointing. The house was clean and organized and the beds were adequately comfortable, and the location was great. - The grill was unusable. The bottom has completely rusted out and the plastic mat underneath it is half melted. I would strongly suggest you move it off the wooden desk as it is an extreme fire hazard.- Fridge: The fridge has a large center shelf that is clearly a shelf from a different fridge. It does not sit flat and anything we put on it would slide/roll out of the fridge. We tried several times to get it to sit properly, but again, I think it is from another fridge as none of the attachment points lined up. The fridge also leaks through the floor into the downstairs ceiling. This needs to get fixed quickly to not cause bigger issues.- The screen on the door to the screened in porch is ripped out.- Lighting: There were not enough small lamps in each room to make them feel cozy at night. We did not like the harsh overhead fluorescent lighting and had to move lamps around when we moved from room to room to set the mood. Also, all the fixtures had a mix of Warm (3000k) bulbs and bright (5000k) bulbs which again made it not as cozy as is

You can see the melted plastic mat under the grill. We were unable to use this.

Grill was completely rusted through and was on a wooden deck

Idyllic Smoky Mountain Retreat!

This property is perfectly situated. Close enough to the hustle & bustle of Pigeon Forge, Dollywood etc, if that’s your thing, but after a very short drive you feel like you’re in the wilderness with fantastic views of Smoky Mountains.The property was very spacious with plenty of seating, restrooms & shower rooms for our party of 6. Certainly the nicest place we stayed during our trip.We weren’t lucky enough to have any bears visit, but did enjoy a firefly display from the hot tub one evening!Communication with Justin was excellent throughout, with quick responses to any queries raised and a genuine desire for us to have enjoyed our stay.

Homey and spacious cabin!

We had a great time at Pinecone Cottage! 9 of us spent a birthday weekend celebrating. It was close enough to town to be able to get to everything, yet felt very secluded. The cabin had everything we needed. Plenty of space and felt super cozy. There were a few minor things we noticed, but nothing to make our stay not enjoyable, just things to let the host know.The roads to the cabin are intimidating if you have a large vehicle, or aren't prepared. The driveway is a little difficult to navigate for more than 2-3 cars, but we figured it out!

Hot tub was dirty. Comforters had stains. Lower area bed was unusable. Trash around back of home. Rodents climbing in walls at night kept us awake. No screen on patio door so we couldn’t enjoy fresh air without bugs coming in. Time for some maintenance folks!

Cabin was in rough shape

The deck to the cabin was rotten and we was afraid to step on it and the ceiling had places where it was falling down the cabin needed a lot of work the cabin had one king size bed and 3 full size beds and the listing said it was suppose to sleep 10 I’m very un happy with the rental

Gatlinburg trip

We had a wonderful time staying in Gatlinburg. The views are always breathe taking and we had a great 1st stay actually up in the mountains. The cabin was clean and beautiful! Will definitely book here again

Great For A Thanksgiving Getaway

The cabin was nice and roomy. Great view also! Justin was helpful when we lost heat. He got it fixed for us in a timely manor. A couple things could use some updating. Overall it was a good rental.
