We had a great time and loved the location of this property and the property itself! It was perfect in size for the both of us and our 2 dogs. We will definitely come back if we come back to Galveston. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there were a few things that need to be fixed or paid attention to a little more. While they didn’t necessarily bother us or effect our trip, it’s still worth noting for others and for management.First, the spring was off one of the balcony doors, and the gate up the stairs was not functioning properly. Also, the outdoor shower seemed to be broken? I’m using it as a question mark because I wasn’t sure if I used it wrong, but it didn’t bother us because the hose was next to it so we were still able to use it. Also, the dryer needs some attention. When we first used the dryer, it kept turning off saying to clean lint, but when I’d look it was empty. I realized it was coming from inside the door and I had to manually pull out tons of lint. It was a lot…I’m not sure if the bag needs replacing but it was like this the day we arrived. It should at least be cleaned out in between stays. The trash outside by the curb was still full from the last guests so we had to use another one under the stairs. Lastly, in the bathroom by the washer/dryer, the bath tub has a slight leak no matter how hard you try to turn it off and the bathroom sink was clogged and filled up while brushing my teeth.Just some feedback for improvement :)

Love everything about this house

We had an excellent time. Couldn’t ask for a better location with beach access. It’s also a short drive from many local restaurants as well as gas stations and bait shops.

Perfect for a large family or group of friends!!

This was the absolute perfect place for us to stay for our spontaneous family getaway!! It was our first time ever staying in a rental that was right on the beach, and we won’t ever stay anywhere else now!! It is so worth it to be conveniently right there! Plus, so close to town! We had a fabulous time and hope to come back to this exact spot very soon!

BEach house

1 bedroom had a hole in wall, i bedroom door to beach had metal trim very lose. Hard to open door. Bedroom stopper was broke. Everything else was good.

A bit of a let down

It is on the beach and great location. Cleanliness was not a problem inside the house. Trash cans were completely full when we got there so it was a struggle for any trash we had, breaker kept tripping so TV and some lights did not work (they did bring an extension cord after 2 days), there are absolutely no chairs or anything other beach, dryer did not work at all we finally found 1 setting it would work on but not equipped to dry clothes, outdoor shower was disconnected, constantly people blocking driveway to walk to the beach, 1 bathroom tub was stained from leaking water and that had no bath plug.

Great location

Overall the house was nicely laid out, location ideal, nice deck. We had an issue with the electric breaker tripping and one of the bathroom showers didn’t have much pressure however the other bathroom worked fine

Beachfront Getaway

The property is in the perfect location on the beach. Massive porch overlooking the Gulf of America with tons of seating and shade. The kitchen is brand new with brand new high end appliances. We had 4 adults and 4 children and had plenty of space. There are smart TVs in 5 different rooms to watch after a long day on the beach.

We loved it!

The location and beach access were exactly what we were looking for! The house itself was in great shape, we were impressed with the updated appliances in the kitchen. We had everything we needed to allow us to relax and enjoy our vacation!

Worst property we have ever had

I spoke with Vacasa 1 week prior to our arrival, they said everything at the property was good that there team had checked it . We get there to find a foot of water covering the road to get to the house. Roof was half tarped and leaking. Rotten flooring around both back doors that don’t close. I spent and hour cleaning nails and trash around the house and back deck. 2 hours after we checked in Vacasa calls and said they want to cancel do to the condition of the house but they had no other property available and wanted us to reschedule the vacation. I told them no that everyone drove 7 hours and took off work so we stayed and had to deal with the house the way it was. No wifi so no tv. No question I will NEVER DEAL WORH THIS CONPANY AGAI

Father’s Day Stay

The location was wonderful. Really enjoyed the beach. The house needs a lot of work. One of the bathrooms had a bad leak and the barbecue should be taken off the amenities list because it was fallen apart.

Location worth the price

I cannot emphasize how perfect the location is. If you have children, I would recommend this property. People cannot drive or park on the section of beach in front of property. The access to the beach is at bottom of back deck stairs. Clear view of beach from back deck. There are a few things that are dated but I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely location steps from the beach. If you can focus on the location you will have a wonderful time. That being said, this home is in desperate need of maintenance. Windows don’t open and the one we could open wouldn’t stay open and we had to prop it open with a pot lid. Kitchen cupboards are in poor shape. The coffee pot on switch didn’t work and there were 2 blender bases but not even one jar. We called about this the first morning we were there and it took until late afternoon of the next day for the management company to get new ones to us (we were leaving the next morning). This is a house for 10 and there were 2 beach towels available and no beach chairs or umbrella
