Amazing view, quiet location in the facility. Far enough back off the busier road to not hear the traffic yet close enough to hear the waves from dusk through the evening. Beach access is wonderful. Great stay

Condo was nice. Needs some minor things but nothing too drastic. Needs some decent nonstick pans which I should have brought myself. Beds were comfortable and the shower was super nice. We enjoyed the resort style pool and drinking coffee on the big balcony with a beautiful view!

Wonderful!

It was very clean and nice! No complaints at all. I loved that we could sit on the balcony and watch our 10 and 12 year old swim in the heated pool. Our little dog had a great stay too, nice dog friendly areas. We walked to the beach several times. Owner was very good at communicating

Wonderful weekend

This property was exactly like the site showed. Construction is being down at this facility but it did not interfere in any way. The only thing I would suggest is a bigger pot for cooking in. I will stay again here.

My wife and I have stayed multiple times over the last 10 year in the Dolphin Smile View. Every year we consider other condominiums, but in the end always go back to the Dolphin Smile. It's a great value now during the upgrade of the entire property!

Perfect place for vacation

Dave's property is truly a gem. The view is breathtaking. It is so nice to wake up in the morning seeing the beach and hearing the waves. Very relaxing. The condo itself is complete with all the things that we needed. We were able to cook since it has the kitchen stuff that we needed. The washer and dryer is a big plus. Bed is comfortable. Dave also responds to our message fast and checked on us on what we needed. Dave and Pam's place truly deserve the 5 star rating. Will definitely be booking this place again once we are back in Galveston. My family loved it.

Spring Break

The condo itself was spotless, and provided everything you needed such as towels, dishes, etc. It's not that big, and there is only one couch. I feel like the pictures depicted a larger space than what was the reality. The pillows need to be replaced in the bedrooms. They're extremely flat, and the bedspreads are clean, but are are worn out and need to replaced with something newer. The condo complex where this condo resides is old, outdated, messy, & disappointing. During our stay, the water was shut off for 3 hrs on Tuesday. The pools are not as they seem in the pictures as they need to be maintained much better. The lounge chairs are cheap plastic and need to be soaped down and scrubbed. They were extremely dirty. If I had know that this condo was in this building, I would have never booked it. I've stayed in bigger, much nicer condos, with better facilities, than this one and spent less money. WAY over priced for what you get. We loved our time in Galveston, and will come back, but will for sure stay somewhere else.

Property was just as listed. Provided an ideal space/accomodations for our party of 4. Decorated very nice. Location was great. Perfect view of pool and beach. Checkin /access was seamless. Great communication from host. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful!

Wonderful communication with the host from booking to checking out, Dave is a great host! The listing is accurate, the unit is absolutely adorable. Equipped with everything we needed. The view is nice with the waves of the gulf and the heated pool right below the unit. Attention to detail amazing, the unit is very Clean! We would love to stay again!

Cute, Fabulous Place!

This condo was perfect for our family Christmas trip! Everything was exactly as described and pictured. We had plenty of room for family of 6. Everyone had their own bed-always a plus. The kitchen was just like home with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. On top of all that, Dave was an amazing host and had great communication. This is definitely the place to stay in Galveston!

Clean, well-appointed unit with great views

We stayed at Dave's property with myself, my mom, my brother and his family. We were easily able to fit our large group in the unit. I looked at other units within this complex and couldn't really tell them apart online. After having been there, I can say that this one is likely one of the best. It is on the end and the top floor, so probably among the most quiet. It has great views of both the gulf and the surrounding area (windows on two sides of the unit). The kitchen was well-stocked. The only downside we noticed was the balcony railing seemed a little loose (so we kept the littlest kids off of the balcony). Would definitely stay again!

Beach getaway for the day
