Check-in was a breeze with the on-site lockbox. Home was just right for us and the beach and views were wonderful. Couple of minor items but they were quickly addressed. Delightful evenings walking the beach with grandchildren shrieking when finding tiny sand crabs. Followed by restful times in the large hot tub!

Comfy beach house

House was well stocked and comfortable. Although 20 miles from downtown which had its pluses and minuses. We were very pleased at the small grocery store and a few restaurants nearby. You really can't beat being directly on the beach!

Its a beach house

Beautiful views, hot tub was user friendly, the high winds made it hard to use the fire pit. Customer service was amazing, they sent someone out to help with an issue we were having and came to a solution. I would recommend more linens such as wash cloths, more than 1 kit hen towel and pot holder. And a floor towel/mat for both bathrooms.

Snow on the Beach

We were fortunate to have a three-day trip to Galveston planned when the city got snow for the first time in 21 years. The house was absolutely beautiful. Extremely clean, and very comfortable beds. The kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare three really nice dinners. Filets from Seven Seas Grocery one night, blackened shrimp another night, and redfish with crab (from Allex's) the last night. We had planned to use the grill for cooking, but it was WAY too cold. I was super delighted to find a beautiful cast iron skillet in the kitchen. (For those unfamiliar with Seven Seas and Allex's, I highly recommend both.) The gigantic smart tv and super comfortable seating in the den kept us entertained when it was too cold to go out. When it finally warmed up the day we were departing, the beach access made it super easy to walk on the snow-covered beach.While we were there, a minor, unavoidable maintenance issue arose, but the owner was super communicative and helpful.It was also too cold to enjoy the hot tub, but the downstairs area was absolutely lovely. We can't wait to go back when it's a little bit warmer to enjoy this area.

Great located at the beach with a stunning view to beach and ocean but 30 minutes from Galveston. Great house but would require some renovation. Pictures are showing the house some years ago. But overall very nice.

Great time at Kokomo!

We had a great stay at the Kokomo house! Very clean, plenty of stocked supplies (kitchen, linens, towels, sand toys & other beach supplies, accessories, etc.)... Hot tub & putt putt game was a hit! .. Very short walk to the beach was so nice! .. Very quiet beach. Felt like we practically had it to ourselves. Fast internet. Really enjoyed drinking coffee every morning on the patio with the ocean view! Also, loved watching the moonrises at night. Highly recommended!

Memorial Day Fun

Great west end location on an un-busy section of beach. House is far enough from the public entrances so it really feels private. Our teenagers enjoyed the hot tub and putting green. We had an issue with the AC and the owner sent someone the next day. They then replaced the unit and it worked perfectly! House was stocked with everything you could need. Would definitely return!

Didn’t want to leave!

This beach house was a piece of Heaven on Earth. We absolutely loved the beach theme throughout the house. It was very cozy, had everything we could possibly need for our trip from shampoo to cooking utensils to beach towels, etc. The view was perfect, the beach was quiet since it’s about 25 min from Galveston town. We stayed during the last week of February which was very cool, so we really enjoyed the hot tub between our chilly walks on the beach. Our kids absolutely loved the bunk room with their own huge television, as well as the putting green, and large deck to play on. For the dog lovers, the house was perfect! We always travel with our dogs, but it’s hard to find VRBO’s that allow three, but these homeowners do, which we are so grateful for. But the best part, they have a fully fenced in area of their yard that is attached to the entrance of the home, so you can actually let your dogs out to use the restroom without having to leash them up every time. This alone makes us want to come back again. The fenced in yard goes around to the back of the home, near the fire pit, hot tub, and porch swings, so the dogs could still see us while we were outside too. Basically, the house exceeded our expectations, and when we had a snafu checking in because we were exhausted from our drive, the homeowner immediately answered our call and helped us. We just loved our vacation so much!

Girls Trip

The weekend was amazing. The house is very comfortable. The amenities in the kitchen are just as described. The beach was beautiful. We are planning to stay here again soon. We had to contact the owner with a question and we got an immediate response.

Kokomo House

The house felt very warm and welcoming and the views of the ocean are amazing. Check-in was so easy it seamed like I must be forgetting to do something. The location is quite but there are several grocery stores, restaurants and downtown activities just a short drive away. I would highly recommend the Kokomo house to any friends or family who are vacationing in the Galveston area.
