Unexpected Disappointment

Stayed in this same unit in 2024 and had a great visit. This year encountered some difficulties.1. The elevator was out of order. I have arthritis in my knee & hip, and I had to climb 4 flights of stairs every time I left and returned. While the weather is out of the control of the owners, having to do this climb multiple times in the rain added to the difficulty.2. There was no parking pass in the unit. The info available to me indicated that a pass was required while my car was on property. It took me 4 hours to get a resolution to this simple problem (the answer was that none was needed).On the good side, the unit was exceptionally clean and quiet.

Great Place to Stay in Fort Walton Beach

A Happy Little Place

Sweet little minimalist appt. Lovely view; sunsets from the balcony. Don't plan on cooking much: two burners and a microwave. Tiny sink. Look in every drawer to find utensils, corkscrew (bring a wine glass). No dining table, ok. There's just something about it that was perfect for my solo get away.

Clean and cozy. But the AC doesn't keep up with the Summer heat.

Afternoon indoor temp reached 79° everyday of my stay. Staff sent a fan. Thank you. Great place to stay in Winter or Spring.

A couple of things need to be addressed, that I would criticize is there are no lights around the pool, and that there needs to be some hooks and gets for hand towels, towels in the bathroom.

Perfect for a quick getaway

Clean, convenient and very cost effective! Boat dock perfect for evening fishing. Close to anything that you need. Loved the keyless entry. Only drawback was traffic to Destin... but what can you do!

Great place for a short stay but>>>

Great place for a short stay. Decor is very dated however for the price it was good. Sofa bed is TERRIBLE.... would recommend for owners to replace it. Made a late night trip to the local Walmart for an Air Mattress it was so bad. Also would recommend for the owners to replace all there outlets. Very limited outlets that actually held your plug in. Would recommend some power strip in this day and age with everyone having phones to charge. Other than those few minor recommendations a really great place . Pool is really nice and relaxing when you don't want the sand. Location is very convient to the action and Very clean. Nice parking and great to have a fridge in the unit for cooler over flow.

Great place to stay, basically a 2 mile drive to all the good beaches and restaurants.

It was a great stay i would give 5 stars but the bed really should be replaced. And there were a few broken items when i showed up, like the sliding door handle, the shower curtain rod, and some trim work was peeling. But nothing to serious! I'm definitely coming back eventually! Customer service through vacasa was also amazing!

For an inexpensive weekend away

My husband and I were looking for an inexpensive weekend away so picked this condo near Fort Walton. It is ok for a short stay. The pool was great and we really enjoyed walking on the dock in the evenings. This is a quiet condo that is away from the traffic which is nice. For a short weekend we only really needed a frig and a coffee pot, which it has. If you are staying longer and want to cook this may not be the choice for you as with the small cook top it is not conducive to cooking meals. There are a lot of great restaurants near by and Santa Rosa is not far away and we highly recommend spending a day there as the beach is pristine there. The managers for this condo are very easy to work with as we encountered several issues with the condo while there during this short stay and they handled all the issues to our satisfaction.
