The Moderne is a cozy, multi-room queen suite inside the historic Harken Building, right in the center of downtown Eureka Springs.

The location is the star: restaurants, shops, galleries, bars and live music are all right outside your door. Park in your dedicated space, grab a drink, and settle onto your private balcony to watch downtown come alive.



The Space:

The Moderne is a compact, two-room suite designed as a comfortable home base for exploring Eureka Springs

Please note, this is a kitchenette, not a full kitchen. There is no stove or oven.

We provide a few k-cups for your first morning along with sugar and creamers. Should you have a preference for a particular brand or coffee accessory, feel free to bring your own along for your stay. Or venture to one of the many coffee shops in walking distance.



Guest Access:

Guests have private access to the entire Moderne Suite and exclusive use of the front balcony overlooking Main Street.

One dedicated parking space is also provided.

The Moderne is located on the top level of the historic Harken Building and requires climbing stairs.



The Neighborhood:

The Moderne is located directly above/near the activity of downtown.

That’s a major advantage if you want to walk everywhere, but it also means this is not a secluded or silent property.

You may hear pedestrians, music, traffic and activity from nearby businesses, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights, holidays and during Eureka Springs events.

If you’re a light sleeper or looking for a quiet retreat away from town, we recommend considering one of our properties outside the downtown area.

If you want to sit on your balcony and watch downtown happen below you, you’re in exactly the right place.

Getting Around:

The Harken Building is part of the historic downtown fabric of Eureka Springs.

Because this is an older building, guests should expect historic character rather than modern construction.

You may notice older architectural details, uneven surfaces, original features and the quirks that come with an older downtown building.

Eureka Springs is also a historic mountain town with steep streets, stairs and uneven sidewalks throughout the downtown area.

The suite is maintained, although, all liability is waived, and you are accepting the property with no assurances.
