Dryer wouldn’t dry clothes all the way. Couch was dirty with stains on arm and front. Receptionist helped with getting clothes dry and I noted with her the couch condition. She was excellent.

Looks like they have hot water issues for long time. Didn’t have first night. Smell in the hallway and in the room from old carpets.

The hotel is dated and dingy. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke and the some detector had been taken off the wall. There was hair in the back of the toilet and stains on the bedding. Requested a new room (front desk was nice). Second room not much better. There has definitely been smoking and what appeared to be bugs on one of the beds. We did not stay. Checked out and went to the Tru by Hilton which was wonderful. Do not stay here!

The bathroom walls were peeling, tub was clogged and dirty. I was trying to unclog it but it was too disgusting. The toilet paper holder couldn’t stay in place. We arrive at night, and there were people in their car at the parking lot like doing weed, it was a bad smelling when we entrance the hotel. Bed sheets were dirty, like they didn’t change after the other people used them. Room was dusty. In general they need to upgrade the hotel or at least maintenance and clean it up.

Hotel smelled like a marijuana den. My room reeked of marijuana and alarm was set off during the night. Fire department showed up after 15 mins to shut off alarm. No hot water in the AM. So no sleep and not even a decent shower. All sugar breakfast and fabricated scambled eggs to get you going. Wont be going back.

The Hotel Concord was one of the only options for a nights stay for us on the night of the eclipse. The room was small and the furniture OLD and scratched up. My son is a wheelchair user and could not get his chair past the first bed, the area between the dresser and the bed was too narrow. The front desk people were fine, asked about a more accessible room but all were the same size with 2 beds. I guess this is what all hotels are starting to do, but the mounted bottles of soap, conditioner and shampoo were not reachable for someone with a disability. I should have asked for small bottles for my son. Just an fyi. There was supposed to be a hair dryer but it was missing. The people staying next to us let us borrow the one in their room. The door to the bathroom would not close, it was coming off its hinges. The breakfast was what you would expect with a waffle maker and the usual eggs, sausage, cereal coffee, etc. The hotel is located in an area near the airport with a lot of other chain hotels, more industrial looking than anything else. It kind of looks very barren. There is no food available for dinner, but there is a Ruby Tuesday restaurant within walking distance past a closed and boarded up restaurant. All in all it was just ok and the beds were soft, good enough for a one night stay while travelling if your expectations are low.

The Hotel has been updated nicely. Our room was clean and had all the essentials. The staff were competent and very pleasant. The breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, waffles, cereals, fruit, muffins bread, fruit & yogurt. We were in town to see the solar eclipse. For the cost the room was a good deal.

My mom and I stayed for the solar eclipse. We had originally booked one night back in Jan at $125, but then in early March, decided to stay two nights. Suddenly, the entire cost went up $587 without a warning. Neither the hotel nor Expedia would honor our first booking. And, the hotel wouldn't allow us to cancel one night, saying the policy has now changed to a two night minimum. It was outrageous. Otherwise, the hotel was very nice. The front desk was nice, 24/7 coffee and tea and free breakfast.

Great location, lots of parking, friendly staff, clean. It's showing it's age and all the hallway noise can be heard in the room but this our second stay here and we will stay again for a visit to Syracuse

Good stay and value...needs minor improvements
I enjoy staying at this hotel and stay here often. The beds are very comfortable, and it is usually very quiet. The breakfast is subpar as compared to other hotels that provide breakfast, so I do not eat at the hotel. My biggest complaint is that every single time we stay here there is ALWAYS dirty linens, towel, and garbage bags in the hallway outside the doors of hotel rooms. We always arrive later in the day, so housekeeping should have come through and taken the garbage and laundry away. It is concerning that this occurs every time we stay. The hotel is under new management, so, hopefully, this will change. Also, the girls at the front desk are often on their phones. On the night I checked in this last time, she never let the phone leave her ear, even while checking me in. Hopefully, the new owner will take care of that as well.

We arrived at the location for the Best Western Plus East Syracuse and it wasn’t there. There was a dimly lit building with no signs. We finally called the BW number. We were told it was no longer a BW, but some new owner. They had our reservation. We stayed. The room was clean, furniture worn, but okay. The halls needed vacuuming, the coffee machine was dirty. We would not stay again.
