Love it
I liked the setup. I like being able to park right across from my room made unloading and loading gear really easy. My only gripe is that heater. Thing stunk up the room and gave us headaches. Thankfully there was a space heater in the closet we used and the bathroom had its own heater. You know we were cold but the price and the set up for the car was super nifty. I’m functionality over glam all day. I’d definitely stay again. It has a beautiful view too. Very quiet. At least tell our last night we had some powder heads next door going buck wild. If I didn’t know how special a ski trip was I would have totally said something but since we were on our way out I didn’t worry about it.

Clean and good location!
Unit was clean just dated. Bed was OK and pillows could be replaces. Over all it was clean just dated.

Great View
The room was very nice. We had a great view of the mountains and it was extremely peaceful and quiet. It was a pleasant getaway.

This is a great place to stay - very roomy and very confident to parking - no elevator, no waiting to get to your room. Walk to town for dinner.

Everything was just as we expected. Everything was so clean and stocked for us. Parking was excellent for us as we were traveling with a boat. We would recommend it .

The cabin was such a peaceful getaway. The space was perfect for our family ski trip and away from the crowds. We love the almost ghost town feel for the winter, but I am sure it's a very busy little town once the shops and restaurants open in the summer.

Good stay. Couple things, it was not well stocked with certain items. No paper towels. Not enough pans no big ones. Grill was dirty and had to clean before use and no grill brush so had to bring inside to clean in sink. The electric water kettle was burnt on bottom where some past genius put on the stove which made it unusable. Wished it had a full size coffee pot. Could of used pot holders too. These were nit picks but things to mention.

Wonderful place and great value for the price
The place was great and the view was amazing. A couple of things that could make the place even better: hangers in the closet and a coat rack or hooks by the door for coats/jackets. A little rearranging in the living area could make plenty of room for another electric fireplace in that area as well. The one in the bedroom was awesome! We loved the keurig with lots of coffee. The place was quiet and peaceful and response time to questions was very quick. Thank you for a great stay!

altitude sickness
It was great. Very clean and simple. We could not contact onsite employees for any issues or questions. I also developed altitude sickness as we did not realize how high Eagle Nest was.

I stay here every time I visit my property in Angel Fire. It's homey, safe, quiet, cute and comfortable. The one thing they could add is a hair dryer, unless I just didn't find it.

We did not even stay after entering the room. It was old, dark and had a very worn old comforter. I booked for 3 adults and it was a king bed only. No sleeper sofa or futon. It was not the room in the picture. It was worse than staying in a camper. We left and did not stay.

I apologize for any confusion you may have had. I checked your reservation and you booked our standard room with 1 king bed which has a max occupancy of 2 people. Your reservation also states you would have only 2 adults in your party. The pictures for that room are accurate and do not show a sofa or a futon only the king size bed, a desk with a chair and a lounge chair. The comforter on the bed is brand new and is a camo print. Our rooms have multiple light sources that can be used to light to the guests preference such as floor lamps, and a desk lamp in addition the the lighting on the celling fan. We try to embrace the rustic charm of our rooms with the knotty pine tongue and groove ceilings and our avocado cast iron tub and sink. Our photos are an accurate depiction of what we have to offer for the specific room that you booked and the amount of people that you specified. We have larger rooms that we recommend for 3 guests as we do not allow 3 in our king rooms which you booked.

The cabin was set up very nicely. It was very clean. I should have reserved another night stay because I liked it so much. I have nothing negative to say. I will definitely go back again.

Our room was impeccably clean. It has a cozy cabin vibe that we loved. It is a quiet location.Very spacious, seperate living/dining room apart from the bedroom. It's simple as far as decor but very well appointed with everything you would need save maybe ice but there is a shop within walking distance as well as a restaurant that you can walk to. They are very generous with the in room coffee which is sooo appreciated and not done in even high end hotels we have stayed. Perfect for a fishing trip or a couples weekend getaway! We will be back!

Room was small, there was 1 towel and one wash cloth each for me and my wife for a 3 night stay. We left after the second night. The view was beautiful but that's about the only thinv positive.

Funky Fun Fishing Motel
The Fly Shack came as advertised. Lots of fishermen, groups and couples. Hunting and fishing themed rooms. Good access to the lake without the 'On the Water Prices'. Will not please modern motel snobs. My TV really never did get ABC at all. And the mattress was probably wrapped in plastic for all the noise it made. But the view before dawn and the quiet after 10pm says it all. This is a VERY old school motel that caters to the fish and not the fussy.

I enjoyed staying here. It's comfortable and I liked it better than staying in a condo. I love the cabin feel. The only thing I couldn't find was a hair dryer, but I survived!

We loved this lodge. We stayed due to picking up our son in Cimarron. We are not fishers, but this property still provided everything we needed. There was a fridge, coffee machine with coffee provided, a smart TV of good size, and a good bathroom. The room was well sized. The property owners/managers have done a great job of providing the basics with a bit of luxury.
