"The staff were some of the best we have ever met and met our needs perfectly. They ensured we had a room that was suitable and went the extra mile to achieve this so a big thank you. The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update...

"This hotel exceeded our expectations, so much so we stayed an extra night. The staff go the extra mile to ensure you are happy and enjoying your break. We met other couples that had returned to the hotel and been doing this for years. The food served was delicious and plentiful. We had the roast of the day on both evenings and they were massive portions all cooked to perfection. We could not decide on our favourite between roast turkey or roast beef. Hat off to their chef! Room was excellent with great facilities , Comfy bed , iron and ironing board , hairdryer and lovely big shower. full size fridge and wine glasses and a sink complete with fairy liquid, great if wanting to eat in as there was also knives and forks in a drawer. "Adele was friendly on arrival and sorted check in and parking permit promptly. Room itself was large and clean, reasonably quiet (room 3) in spite of having window open and being near moderately busy road. Bed fairly comfortable. In a good state of repair though decorated and furnished in a very dated style. Bathroom was very small. Shower needs a new hose, spraying most of the water at the wall. The sealant was black, unsightly and needing replaced. The toilet roll holder is not attached to...

"Really comfortable, quiet and clean bedroom, the bathroom was on the small side and not as nice as the rest of the room (still nice enough). The staff were friendly but seemed very busy so they just gave us the key and pointed us in the direction of the outbuiling where our bedroom was located. If you have heavy luggage or struggle with stairs our room would not be for you as there were some very steep stairs."
