"Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely no facilities in the room, not even a glass for a drink of water. Shower screen almost falling apart. 2nd bed not made up despite booking saying 3 adults. However food was very good"

"It's an old hotel, but its clean, tidy and the staff are great. Rooms vary, some are bigger than others. Location couldn't be any better for the centre of Carlisle. On this occasion we were on the fourth floor which does require some stair climbing (there is one lift, it holds four people and is ..."
