"We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. "We went to Richmond to attend a concert at the Allianz Amphitheater. Unfortunately, due to lightning in the area, our event was canceled. Since we were already in the city, we decided to stay, and had an amazing time in this home. "The host was super responsive, polite, and gracious. It was a quiet neighborhood. This is the basement of an occupied home, so you can hear some, but no issues with excessive noise. Area was clean and welcoming. I shared this with the host, but there was no fridge. Latoya gave me access to hear wine chilling unit almost immediately to meet my needs- so appreciated. I would need a "real fridge," but would otherwise stay againThanks, Latoya! "

"The property was in a great location to the places we needed to be. We were disappointed that there was 1 bath towel, no wash clothes and two hand towels for our use. The listing stated two bedrooms, it was one bedroom with a pull out sofa however stated the unit slept 5. There were no sharp knives in the unit. I normally carry a ton of items and have gotten out of the habit as these are things that should be standard items in the units. "

"The location of this condo was excellent. There is lots to do nearby. It is well equipped with everyday essentials. If you like your morning coffee as I do, bring your own mug. The Keurig is a small 6oz maker. Though this did not hinder my stay at all. The pool was just outside and very convenient. There is an ice machine for all to use, by the pool. "The hotel is located in an area close to many things. The cleanliness of the room was not good; one of the bed blankets had blood on it, as if it hadn't been changed. We were tired and didn’t have the energy to go to the main lobby to ask for a room change, so we opted to just request a clean sheet. There was hair in the bathtub, which makes me think it wasn’t cleaned very well. The beds were comfortable, but I don’t think they are queen size; they seem more like full size because they’re small. The air conditioning did not work well; it wasn’t hot, but it wasn’t cold either. I wouldn’t stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone planning to stay for more than one day."

"El concepto es buenísimo. Como si fuera un dorm de una universidad. En el lobby tienen una cafetería, mesa de billar, de video juegos, juegos de mesa, sofá frente a la chimenea. Y el cuarto era una suite de una recámara con una litera y sofá cama en la sala y una cama king size en la recámara. Dos baños, todo decorado con el concepto universitario. Muy recomendable y cerca de todo."
