Cozy Cabin in the Woods

Wonderful cozy weekend getaway! The cabin was decorated for Christmas which added to the charm. Beautiful fireplace, beautiful view out back with large windows/glass doors to enjoy even from indoors. Bathrooms are all newly renovated, very clean. Plenty of comfortable "hangout space" as well as separate bedroom areas for quiet time. The kitchen was well stocked, loved the great smelling soap and hand lotion - nice extras. We enjoyed the foosball table, trails, rushing creek...even saw an albino squirrel for the first time ever! Would love to see the area in the summer time...

Fantastic rental and location!

Not only was the home just as the photos reflected but it far exceeded our expectations! The owners thought of everything you might need! Well supplied kitchen and excellent appliances. The master bed was extremely comfortable and the living area was very cozy and relaxing! The views from the back porch were breathtakingly beautiful! Fall color at its peak! Very quiet and secluded. We liked the rental so much we actually cancelled some of our plans just so we could relax at the house more! We would definitely rent this again!

Very disappointing

We enjoyed visiting Boone and Blowing Rock and the area is beautiful but our cabin was so nasty- there were childrens hand prints all over the refrigerator and windows (we do not have kids). There were bugs everywhere….alive and dead. While plugging in my phone charger behind the small night stand was a piece of candy with dust and hair all over it and behind the bed and other nightstand. There were cobwebs everywhere. The washer had mold all in it- my husband went downstairs to wash a piece of clothing and came back up stairs with a rag that had black mold all over it. The silverware draw knob fell off after trying to retrieve a spoon ,as if that is not enough, the cabin had a smell to it; hence the reason for candles all over and a hidden box of baking soda behind a clock to absorb the odor. The bathrooms were fairly clean but that is the only thing. I’m addition, there was an inch of dust on all of the ceiling fans. . Very disappointed!

Visiting our App State student along with a lovely mountain getaway

Our son attends App State and we always plan a fall visit. As we absolutely love the mountains, we try to combine this visit with hiking, fishing, and enjoying the amazing views. This property was absolutely stunning-inside and out! We could do all of our favorite mountain activities within the community and loved every minute! We were sad we could not stay longer and in the future we hope to rent for a full week!

Beautiful Vacation Home

The drive to the gated neighborhood was beautiful, and once entering it was so lovely with winding drive up the mountain. The home was perfect with a wrap around deck with an amazing view. Two King Beds for guests, with extremely comfortable beds, charming home furnishings, and fabulous updated baths with walk in showers, and complete kitchen set up. Would love to stay here again.

Great Vacation

This was a great property for our family vacation. It was a very secluded and private getaway but close enough to other activities. This was our family summer trip that was planned around taking our grandson to Tweetsie. There was a bathroom issue which was no one's fault but the host went above and beyond to take care of. Did not affect our stay at all. Would highly recommend this house.
