Great place to stay in Creede! Breathtaking mountain views, and it’s walkable to restaurants and the grocery store. We also appreciated the large bathroom and washing machine/dryer. One small nit - they only provide one day’s worth of coffee, so if that’s important to you, be sure to bring your own.

The views at this property are absolutely amazing. We loved walking to the theater and another downtown events from the house. Highly recommend this quaint and rustic home for your next stay in Creede. Just a note for access: 3rd Street going up the hill is closed. The only access to the house is from Capital Street. The ascent to the house is very steep and not marked. If you set your Google maps to directions for walking, that’s your best bet.

It's a great place, but you do need to make a run at the driveway, to get up the hill. Otherwise, it was a cool litttle place and had great views.

Cute cabin with steep stairs

This cabin is charming. It has a nice view of the town. It was very clean and we appreciated the large bathroom with a washer and dryer. There is only one railing on the very steep stairs to the sleeping loft. The floors are also rather rough and do not have any rugs. I did not feel comfortable forgoing socks on these floors.

Cozy Cabin

This property, located in the breathtaking town of Creede, has all the amenities of a home away from home. A very clean and modern property that is just the right size for a small group of friends or family. There are stairs leading up to the porch from the parking space. I would not recommend this cabin if you have mobility issues. For anyone else though, this is a must see and stay at location.

Rustic and Charming

Rustic and charming home on top of the mountain. Great view of the mountains. House had a shut up smell. But a little airing out did help. Steep drive up the to house. Deer in the yard one evening. Was a good place to stay. Enjoyed being there.

Creede winter getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in Creede. The house is great. It's listed as a 1 bedroom but the loft area is big enough for 4-5 adults. They mention in the listing that the driveway is steep and that isn't a joke. We required 4x4 every day when we left or returned. That was with or without snow on the ground. The hot water was instant and very Hot! 👏 We enjoyed our family game nights of Uno or Monopoly after a full day of snow skiing / snowboarding. Thank you for hosting us.

Special getaway with my son and daughter

We had a great time!! The views from the house are fantastic, and the character of the house, is a step back in time, definitely adding to the adventure we sought!! The loft is a "Loft"and can prove it, with limited head space, so be prepared for that. If prim and proper is what you are after, this might not be the property for you. But, if you are an easy going adventure seeker, this place Rocks!!! We had a great time!!!

Hated to leave..

The house was perfect for our family trip. Beautiful views, wildlife visited daily, and right about Creede. We will definitely be back and continue to stay in VRC properties! Amanda was amazing and so helpful!! We hope to go back sooner than later!

We really enjoyed our stay

The house was just as described and that suited us perfectly. There is a fantastic view of Creede and the surrounding mountains from the living room and front deck. The house was very well stocked for cooking and supplies (soap, etc) were more than sufficient for our 6-day stay. Amanda come over almost immediately when we sent a text about how to operate the oven. She was very helpful in answering other minor questions that we had. The inside table for eating accommodated 4 when we invited friends over but was a bit tight. The table on the front deck is spacious.

The decor was unique and pleasing. More than one coffee filter would have been nice and some basic dry goods since the town is closed down by 5pm and checkin is after 4pm.

It was a nice little place to stay while in town. Great view. They aren’t lying when they say that you need a 4x4 or equivalent to get up the driveway. Luckily my Ford Edge made it up there with a good running start.

I was not fully aware that a company owns and runs this property which was an odd experience. The reminders and emails were automated from the ocmpany and it felt like things were regulated differently than when property is run by people who have lived there and want to share their home with you (told there would be limited toilet paper and if we needed more we could buy it). The home was a cool place in an awesome location, it just felt more like a hotel experience. We recommend Creede as there is so much to do and this location lent to experiencing the town.

Great stay in Creede

This house was clean and very comfortable. We felt at home in the house on the hill. It is stocked with everything you need and then some. Great view from front porch. Drive way is no joke, it is very steep though i had no issue as i have all wheel drive. Not sure what you do in snow? I escaped the heat in texas for a few days and the breeze on porch was amazing. I will stay here again.

Quaint cozy cabin

This was a great spot for us to access town as well as hiking trails and river fishing. The WiFi is excellent…my husband was in Zoom calls all day and 2 of us were on our laptops at the same time. Tons of small appliances! No spices but salt & pepper so bring your own. We really loved it. The steep drive is a bit bumpy but no issue for us

Nice getaway

We enjoyed our stay here. Cabin was a perfect size for us(two adults and two 5 yr old). Kids enjoyed the loft, the stairs were a little intimidating for one of them but they got over it. Kitchen was a nice size. I was little disappointed in the kitchen pots and pans, I would recommend bringing a skillet to cook on. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was fine. It was raining when we arrived which made driving up the hill to get to house a little tricky. Overall, nice place, great views. I would stay here again.
