"My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon for a whole week. It is such a peaceful environment, and is very close to the beaches. It is in a more rural area of the island, so you can see the stars super clearly at night. Some people complained of the chickens making too much noise, but we didn’t find that to be a problem. The yard is super private, and you’re about 98% out of view of your neighbors. "

The kitchen was well equipped (even a bbq that we used a few times to grill local fish) and there were beach chairs, boogie boards and a surf board for us to use. "This was our first trip to Hanalei and it was made extra special by staying at Mike and Leila’s place. It is beautiful, perfect location, and has everything you’ll need. We used the bikes and beach chairs to ride into town and relax at the bay. We loved sitting on the balcony or in the upstairs living room with the windows open during the rain. Views are amazing (we could see multiple waterfalls from the balcony). Parking is easy, laundry was so convenient, host was super responsive. We haven’t...

"Beautiful property! Great location on north side of Kauai - close to Hanalei and Kilauea. Great food at Red Hot Mamas at the Princeville shopping center. Very comfortable without air conditioning during our stay which was a concern. Would definitely come stay again! "
