"Our experience at the Westin Princeville during the hurricane was incredibly disappointing, and what happened afterward made it way worse.
Because of the hurricane and resulting conditions on Kauai, we were effectively stranded at the hotel for an additional two days. We had no choice but to extend our stay because travel and road conditions made it impossible for us to leave as planned.

"This a a fabulous studio in a great North Shore location! Kimberlee provides all the amenities you need and more, including beach towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and snorkeling equipment!
The bed and furniture are very comfortable. The A/C and fans work really well, and the lanai (patio) is a great place to unwind after a long day exploring.

"This property was lovely. The room was little older than I thought it would be, but nice. The Hanalei Bay was wonderful, everyone was very kind and accommodating there and location can not be beat! Had a few issues and called the prop company and the lady tried her best to help me. Only one caveat was the extra price you pay for fees (resort fee, check in fee etc) at Hanelai Bay Resort. They did disclose this, but at first I thought the property was cheaper than it actually was. Plan on it...

"Very nice condo, clean, comfortable and It had everything we needed (good kitchen, beach and snorkeling gear..) I specially liked to see the trees and views from the balcony as well as the neighbourhood overall. There is a small beach 5-10 mins walk where you can do snorkeling and see some coral and turtles.
Things to keep in mind:
-the stairs to the bedroom are quite steep.
-the parking spot is shared with the condo un front."

"I I was really happy with our stay here. The unit actually exceeded my expectations it is slightly larger than it appears and the photos. The kitchen and back deck are so nice it really opens up the unit which is more of a studio but with a large kitchen and large bathroom for people can fit in it comfortably please keep in mind that the sofa is not a sofa bed what they have is a plushie blow up bed, however it was comfortable and way to put up and break down. Walking distance to grocery store...

"Fantastic location, comfortable unit, and great support from the host. Relaxing balcony with beautiful views. The kitchenette is useful for breakfast and snacks, but if you want to cook full meals with a range or oven you'll need a different spot. "The unit is located in the Sandpiper complex. There's a small and a larger parking lot that you will need to hang a permit to park in either. Make sure to park in an unmarked spot or else you will get towed. We didn't really get to check out the pool or grill as we had an issue trying to check in our first day. Luckily, we were able to get a hold of the Host and he refunded us a good amount to make up for the mishap.
The unit is on the small side and can only accommodate 2 people. The bed...
