Our stay was fantastic! Host was extremely accommodating and communicative. We had a ton of space but house and outdoor area was open enough for us to still feel together but not cramped. We all loved this house, especially the pool and foshing

Excellent Vacation house

This house had everything we needed. Pool, Kayaks, great fishing, ice machine and our family pet got to spend our vacation with us! Communication before and during stay was excellent! We definitely will be booking here again!

Beach vacation

Great location between Corpus Christi and Rockport. The pool was great and being on the was a plus. We caught a lot of fish. The kids had a blast catching fish. The Howdy house was big enough to accommodate 5 kids and 5 adults. The kichen has everything you need. Nice house for a beach vacation. blast catching fish.

Nice house for family vacation

Lots of space and everything we needed for a great family getaway. Eight adults were able to stay comfortably after getting the ac situation straight. We actually had to turn off the extra unit to keep the whole space cool. Deck and pool were fantastic. Enjoyed taking the kayaks out.

Another incredible stay

This was a return stay for us. Yet again, we had a wonderful, memorable experience at Howdy Bay. From a beautiful, spacious home- equipped with everything- to a fabulous outdoor space with the pool, kayaks, fishing and more. Everyone was always occupied and happy, which isn't easy for three children and two teens! Brian is always at the ready if we need anything, but he's anticipated pretty much everything so we didn't need to reach out much. We are grateful for the incredible time and perfect stay!

Lovely stay

Our stay was great and we really enjoyed the accommodations. We had 8 adults and 3 kids (ages 5, 11, & 13). My one recommendation is for there to be enough chairs or barstools for the max allowed people to gather in the dining/ kitchen area. Family meal times are special for us and we had to have 2 people standing. Other than that, it was clean, the living room was comfy, the pool and the deck were fun and we enjoyed fishing and kayaking. Also, the instructions were clear and check-in and check-out were easy! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Photos are accurate!

The photos of this house are REALLY what is there. Rooms are large, furniture is amazing! (No sinking to the floor on the couches) Kitchen is beautiful! There are quite a few small appliances available, a crockpot!!! The outer deck is so nice, no loose boards, comfortable deck chairs! The pool is incredible. We were there in April, so the water was cold, but the wind was colder! We fished off the upper deck, because the lower was too hard for us to navigate the steps. We didn't catch any record breakers, but we had a lot of fun feeding them shrimp. The neighborhood was suprisingly quiet, so peaceful and serene!! Definitely a 12 out of 10.

Great location

Perfect location between Rockport and Aransas Pass, a quick trip to Port A beaches. The house is perfect for families. The private dock was perfect for our boat.

Beautiful property with everything you could need. The location is close to town for food and shopping, but honestly, with the back patio why would you leave? The whole group had a great time.

Great stay

Loved the cocktail pool and fact that we could tie our boat up just steps from the living room. Comfortable KS bed downstairs. Having access to a commercial ice maker was awesome. Great views off the back deck.

Great house

This house was great, clean, close to a lot of activities, and restaurants! We loved staying here. Fishing off the dock was great all times of the day. We caught all kinds of fish. The house was roomy, and everything you need in the kitchen for cooking. The owner was easy to get ahold of, and helped out very much. We appreciate getting to stay here, and would stay again!

Best VRBO property ever.

When we travel, we only stay in VRBO properties with excellent standards and impeccable amenities. We frequently travel to Rockport and while we have enjoyed previous stays at other properties, nothing compares to our time at Howdy Bay and our experience with Brian as host. Truly the best experience we've ever had with VRBO. First, the property is immaculate, sprawling and stunning. All the previous reviews are accurate; I echo what they've said! Beds are comfortable and abundant; furniture is superior. The kitchen was very well-stocked; we had four adults and five children who ate most meals in with ease- seating for all of us. The little touches are incredible- from a surplus of pillows and blankets to charger stations and Echo devices in every bedroom. Brian truly has thought of everything as a host, even in the pre-arrival instructions. The children were more than occupied out back between the pool, fishing, and using the kayak and SUP to explore the channel. Their highlight was the multiple times they chased after a couple of dolphins who swam by them, one with a calf! It was our first time to vacation with another family and have that many people under one roof. We had ample space, activities and everything we could have wanted. We spent the majority of the time at the house because it was simply perfect, the idyllic setting to make incredible memories. This truly is the one house, location and host we can't wait to book with again. A 10/10 perfect stay!

Had a great time everything was as stated in the write up had no issues

The place fit our needs for our family size the pool was great for the kids and adults there was a good breeze and shade on the back patio in the afternoon so you could set outside and not get hot the ice maker in the garage really helped we didn’t have to buy any ice and the second Refrigerator in the garage also was nice in all if you want a nice place to see the water and just take it easy this is it

Fun Times!

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the house and the pool. The property manager, Brian, was extremely helpful and answered texts right away. The house was the right size for us (5 adults, 3 kids). Next time, I will stay downstairs though and give the upstairs room to a younger couple. The one thing that is not explained in the description (or we all missed it) was that the one bedroom w/ full bath is completely outside of the main house.
