Good Morning Sunshine

Every morning, I the automatic shutters in the bedroom opened to a glorious view! That and my morning coffee on the patio, looking out at the ocean, were the highlights of my trip. This property was just what we wanted. Off the beaten track enough to have privacy and solitude, yet close enough to everywhere we wanted to go. The owners and property manager were responsive. The only downside was that there was no beach to walk to, as mentioned.

Very good, from the kitchen being completely outfitted with everything one could need, to the great outdoor space to rest and relax. A car is needed however that goes without saying in order to tour the island. Had a fantastic stay and would strongly recommend Ocean Breeze O6.

Groundhog Day as it should be! Sunny and 84 everyday!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool and the outdoor space were phenomenal, as was the view, and the weather was perfect. The property manager was great. We were surprised by the drone of construction, but we got used to it. The beds were too firm for us and the pillows need replacing, but we are all used to memory foam mattresses at home. We were uncomfortable walking in the vicinity of the house because of a stray Pit Bull, but she never bothered us otherwise. Apparently neighbors feed her. We enjoy cooking and we had everything we needed. The washer and dryer were great. Overall, we are very comfortable recommending this home based on our positive experience. The owners are very responsive and helpful and went out of their way to assist us ahead of our arrival. No home is perfect but this was a great place to stay while enjoying the island and it’s wonderful February weather.

Lovely private home

This is a BEAUTIFULLY decorated and maintained property. The furnishings, bedding and appliances are top notch. If you are inclined to cook the kitchen has everything you need to prepare home cooked meals. The deck has a wonderful view of the water and has numerous seating options for sunbathing or enjoying the weather and ocean view. The pool was well maintained while we stayed although the water temp was a bit cool for our taste so we did not spend a lot of time in the pool. You should know that the property is in newer community and there is construction nearby. Also it is located on the side of a steep hill that provides a great view but is difficult to walk down to the beach/restaurant due to the steep incline, unfinished path and lack of lightening. In this regard we only ate once at the nearby restaurant because it was too dark, steep and difficult to walk up the winding path to the paved portion of the roadway and once you got there it's still steep and winding to the residence. The beach is small so you'll probably want to go somewhere else. You will need to rent a vehicle to enjoy this property. You just can't get anywhere without one. Watch out for the local drivers as they are careless by US standards. We live in a community that has many turnabouts so we are used to them but the locals take it to a different level, especially the motorbikes. There are many very nice restaurants within 10 minutes of this property. Lots of fresh seafood and LOBSTER.

Paradise!

We stayed on the island a couple of times, but this was our best visit. 2 master bedrooms with king beds. A full working kitchen and a huge patio with a heated 12x15 pool! Beautiful views overlooking the ocean. What more could you ask for?

A week in paradise

Even before we even left for our vacation, Mike the property manager was so helpful answering questions and giving us suggestions. From arriving to check out, this was a perfect stay! I can’t speak highly enough of Mike. One little hiccup with the pool due to local construction and Mike responded within seconds! This home was perfect for 2 couples. Very comfortable and it had EVERYTHING you need! The view was spectacular! We watched the cruise ships and stars from our bed. My only suggestion is to rent a car as it’s not walking distance to most shops and restaurants. But that’s ok since you need a car to explore the whole island. Can’t wait to return!

This property is exactly as advertised! There is not one thing we wanted and did not find as this is more than a rental…it’s a home away from home. Little Slice of Paradise

This property is exceptional! I have been coming to St Martin since 1986 and have not found a better area to stay in! Wonderful property is exactly as pictured and Calvin was a pleasure to deal with. Even offering ideas once we were already settled in. Great location, walking distance to a wonderful secluded beach with a great bar/restaurant. Thanks Calvin!

A Small Slice in Paradise

We loved the home and the listing was as described. The information on how to run the appliances, tv, ac etc were top notch. The only complaint would be the comfort of beds and bed linens could be improved. Certainly subjective but definitely worth a mention. Thanks for a great vacay!

Oasis in St. Maarten

We so enjoyed indigo villa. First-great location and easy to access from most anywhere on island since it was close to both Phillipsburg and Simpson Bay. The owners and manager communicated great from start to finish. The website was an excellent resource for our stay as well. We enjoyed the layout of the villa. There were 2 couples and we equally had fabulous master bedrooms. Our favorite area was the outside area and pool. The sunsets were awesome and morning coffee overlooking the ocean was perfect to start the day. We would definitely return to indigo villa.

FABULOUS!

This property was actually even nicer than it shows in the pictures., which are lovely! Very clean and modern with a great pool area and is in wonderful spot for beaching and walking ( there is even a lovely restaurant and massaages available at the beach to be enjoyed.) Booking and communication was very easy and we feel very confident recommending Indigo Bay. A lovely place to visit!!

Our stay at Indigo Bay set the stage for an amazing vacation

It is more the exception than the rule for a vacation rental property to look as described online. Not only did this Indigo Bay property look as described (spotless, spacious, kitchen fully equipped, comfortable beds, laundry room fully stocked, clear pool, gated community, almost private beach within 6 min walk with a great beach restaurant with hospitable staff and good food), the whole experience truly exceeded our expectations. We enjoy to cook. The kitchen in the property was equipped with everything we typically use at home. Simply amazing! For a week, we worked remotely (reliable wi-fi) from heaven. To wake up to that gorgeous view after a comfortable night sleep, or to end a great day exploring the island with a nice cookout on the grill, a swim in your private pool, taking in the sunset and the view of Indigo Bay... was paradise. Communication with Melissa and Calvin, property owners, and Michael, maintenance property manager, was prompt, responsive and attentive. Highly recommend this property.
