I ended up not making it to the winery, but it was an easy drive into Colonial Beach and over to George Washington’s birthplace. "House was very nice and very private. The location is tucked away from Colonial Beach, but just a short drive away for a visit. The kayaks and the water were a favorite for my kids. The kitchen was FULLY stocked with all of the tools we needed and that was a very nice touch. It was easy to get settled and provided plenty of space for our family."

"Enjoyed our visit to Colonial Beach. Rented a golf cart for getting around town; highly recommend this method of transportation. Lovely view from the condo and easy access to the boardwalk, restaurants and bars.However, plan accordingly for the late-night, weekend live music next door at Tiki Hut.Spent an afternoon at the pool, which is not on-site. But with the golf cart, it was an easy, short commute."
