"Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit."

"We booked this property to celebrate our anniversary and it did not disappoint. Wayne, Nanette and Hank, the hosts were very responsive and even left us some treats and wine as a surprise. We were! Hank greeted us, tail wagging, the minute we arrived. LolThis property has so many amenities for a lakefront cottage and we used most of them! Kayaks, paddle boards, hot tub! "One of my favorite places away from home. I love how quiet and relaxing it is to sit on the deck or in the hot tub watching the birds and chipmunks and the river down below. The bed is comfy, the water pressure is fantastic and the kitchen and bathroom have everything you think you might need. The Clarks are the best of hosts. We just love it here!"
