This property is definitely at the top of the list for romantic getaways. The view is like a painting and the wildlife (birds, squirrels and deer) are plentiful. I stayed 2 nights here with my husband and it was perfect. We had all the amenities we needed and felt right at home almost instantly. The bed was comfortable as were the lounge chairs and sectional on the deck. Watching movies while in the hot tub was an added bonus. There are also amazing hikes nearby and great restaurants so you have the best of everything. You could also very easily just stay and relax in the cabin and be very happy. Our hosts were very respectful of our privacy and made sure we had everything we needed. I HIGHLY recommend a stay here. I am sure we will be back and have referred friends already.

My wife and I alternate planning our anniversary each year, and this gem has set the bar incredibly high for her to top next time! We booked Charlie and Jessie’s property for our 6th anniversary, and it was an absolute find.Charlie is a fantastic host. He greeted us warmly upon arrival, walked us through a few simple rules, and was super easy to communicate with throughout our stay. After the initial welcome, he and Jessie gave us complete privacy—we didn’t see them again, which was perfect for our romantic getaway.The photos on the listing don’t do this place justice. The views are breathtaking, and even if you visit during the rainy season, don’t be discouraged. We were lucky to catch a stunning rainbow after a bit of sun, which made the experience even more magical. The property spans 10 acres, offering plenty of space to explore. It’s also conveniently located just 11 minutes from downtown Arlington. For a delicious breakfast, we highly recommend Blue Bird Cafe nearby.Thank you, Charlie and Jessie, for your incredible hospitality and for sharing your gorgeous property with us. We can’t wait to return!

This was the perfect quiet getaway for my husband and I. Raising teens adds a lot of chaos to life. Resting at the Clark’s Cabin in the woods was absolutely spectacular and refreshing. Amenities, location, and hospitality blew us away. Wish we could give it 6 stars.

Dear Clark Family – Wow! It is hard to find the words for your majestic views and relaxing, eclectic, and perfect home. This place is absolutely soul-refreshing and deserves a write up in Country Living Magazine and a Conde Nast Travel Award! From the sweet deer family grazing under the apple tree to the eagles swooping down over the river, to walks on the mossy trails to secret waterfalls, to watching romantic Christmas movies in the hot tub…what an absolute dream! We enjoyed time to reconnect over coffee and chilly morning views on the back deck to warm nights cuddled by the woodstove with a cozy blanket and some cocoa. After 3 long and busy years of caring for sick parents, marrying off kids, and building a new business, we were just TIRED! Married nearly 27 years but felt like we had been on autopilot. When we came, I had dubbed this “vision weekend” and it was exactly that. We are leaving refreshed with new vision for our marriage and strength for all that life will bring in the near future. There is so much world to see and so little time off work that we try to never visit the same place twice. But this may have to become an annual tradition for us because it is just perfect in every way. Thank you again for opening up your little slice of heaven to us, your generosity, and hospitality. This property is amazing from the second you step on it. You are greeted at the door on your arrival and they make you feel right at home. If this property is available book it don't miss out. The trail is a beautiful trail into the trees and is so beautiful to start your mornin. Dont fordet the beautiful views from the hot tub either. Highly recommend this property.

One of the nicest properties we’ve rented. The cabin was perfect for two people. The views of the river and mountains were amazing. Located in a very quiet, secluded spot. Our host, Charlie, lives on the property and was there to answer any questions. We highly recommend this cabin.

There is nothing not to like about this cabin. The Clarks are amazing hosts and have thoughtbof every last little detail. Sitting on the deck watching the fog roll through the trees and watching the sun come up was a real treat. We have stayed twice now and have already booked our 3rd visit!!

My wife and I were in the area for a friend's wedding and decided to make an extended weekend out of it. Normally, we're up and adam — cramming as many events into the day as we can. But not this time. The house and surrounding views were so beautiful. And it was just quiet and peaceful. In the end, we just hung around the house, and the hottub, and did absolutely nothing. It was great.
