Indeed, the unit was very spacious & private. I overall loved the layout and everything within the unit was very easy to find. It greatly helped that the host (Dan) sent detailed instructions regarding check-in & check-out, along with information on nearby eateries & coffee shops. He also responded to my Vrbo messages very quickly. Definitely will be looking for this unit again the next time I’m in the Riverwest area!

Great location! Easy walk (less than a mile) to The Salt Shed for a concert. Host was very helpful, responded quickly. Apartment was exactly as pictured.

Came to town for the weekend and the location of the place is amazing. The River West neighborhood is beautiful and conveniently located. You couldn’t ask for a better host as Dan was the perfect level of attentive and available without being intrusive. The property was incredibly spacious, comfortable and very clean. The building is close to several shops in case you forgot anything, along with places to eat and get coffee nearby. Hope to stay here again every time we come to visit.

Great!

Very nice, neat and clean studio apartment which includes all the amenities necessary to make it a great stay while also being close to downtown. We both walked and taken the CTA Blue Line downtown. The Blue Line station is very close to the apartment, and brings you downtown very quickly. The apartment belongs to a wonderful carrying host who is also a great communicator.

Excellent Location and Host

I've been lucky enough to stay in a lot of short-term rentals all over the globe, and I'm not sure I've encountered a host as prepared and communicative as Dan. Staying in the space was a pleasure, especially since it's so convenient to the blue line. We took the train in and back out to O'hare, but also got around to restaurants, bars, etc., easily. The neighborhood is safe and features a lovely coffeeshop to get your day started. A fantastic stay, and I'm sure we'll book again.

Great location for Salt Shed. Easy street parking.

Really clean accommodations. Comfortable. We couldn't find the coffeemaker (spoiler: it was in the cabinet between the fridge and washer/dryer) and I texted Dan and he responded quickly. Check in was easy and we found parking right out front. We saw two shows at the Salt Shed. It was about a 15 minute walk, which was very convenient.

AMAZING PLACE to stay!!

This place was fantastic and exactly what we were looking for. It's conveniently located near great dining options and within walking distance of the Jack pumpkin pop-up. Dan, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful. We can't wait to return on our next visit and highly recommend this spot!

Perfect location, kind host, easy access to Chicago

Dan was an attentive and responsive host; when we had trouble with the check in all we had to do was call him and he was there in a few minutes to fix it. The place is in a great location, very quiet, just a block away from the Blue Line, and so quick access to the Loop and elsewhere. There is breakfast, good coffee, and a grocery store nearby. Intuit, a great underknown art museum devoted to self-taught artists is nearby, -- though we did not visit it, I have many times before and would recommend it. We came to town for college visits for my son after first visiting family on the far South Side. It was very convient to stay in the city for our visits and it was great to spend time together in a chill place.

Great location!

We stayed here because it was within walking distance of The Salt Shed. There are bus stops and train access extremely close, also. The apartment was adorable and fit our needs for a quick weekend getaway. I gave 4 stars on the cleanliness ONLY because I think the living room couch is on it's way to the curb lol But truly, the owner of the listing was incredibly easy to deal with and extremely accommodating when our flight was going to get in much sooner than we would have liked! Stellar communication and an extremely convenient location made for a great experience!

Clean and quiet!

We had a great stay at Dan's place! Location was just outside of busy downtown and was very quiet. Lots of food options within a short walk. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay!

Amazing stay

Location was great and parking was very accessible! The host was very responsive and the check in process was seamless. Check out process was also very quick, only needing to do a couple of things before leaving but very easy to do. Definitely recommend staying here!!

Excellent location!

This was the perfect place for our stay. We were able to easily walk to a concert at the Salt Shed, and the Blue Line was just a few short blocks away. We drove into the city, but we’re able to park our car in front of the property and left it there all weekend while we used public transportation. Hosts were very responsive, and there were restaurants and bars close by.
