We enjoyed our stay. Parking is not great as a few other reviews state. Loved the back porch. Place was clean, enough.

There is on street parking but no spots near unit. bars on the windows but not in the ad. drug dealers approached us before checking in. some windows do not have operable locks and there is a dangerous hole in the kitchen floor that made one girl trip and nearly seriously hurt her head. the owner is nearly non-responsive and apparently lives downstairs!! ceiling paint is failing of in some of the rooms. nice pics but that's it. All of the girls felt scared. We did NOT feel safe at all. We left the first night and had to come back and get some stuff the next morning. Tried to reach out to the owner but she never responded. She refused to address our concerns and never offered a refund due to safety concerns. This place is dangerous.

The residence itself was great. The only downside is the location. Multiple Uber drivers asked if we were in the right location… otherwise, you get what you payed for.

Came in town for football. Very comfortable, quiet and spacious. Check in and out was easy. Only thing, at night it is hard to find parking, but overall this was a great stay. 10/10

Great hidden treasure!

We were in town with our rowing team for a regatta, and this was a perfect spot to stay! Amenities were perfect for our needs, the living room is super spacious for some morning yoga, and the owners were responsive to any questions we had. Will definitely be saving this location for our trip here next year?

Much better than a hotel!

Plenty of room, very nice amenities, short walk to bus line. Felt great coming back every day to that rather than a hotel room. Much more personal.

Chicago christmas weekend

Overall great stay! Neighborhood was a little unwelcoming and limited kitchen supplies but the unit was large and spavious for all of us. Alma was such a great host and very quick to respond 😊

Nice and spacious

It was the perfect place for us to stay for a long weekend. The neighborhood was a true city area and not as quiet as the suburbs but we knew that going in. No one bothered us and people were helpful. Super close to everything.

Decent stay

We needed a place that slept three adults and two kids. Beds provided variety of hard or soft which worked. The dining chairs were sunk in, as was sofa- not a comfortable experience. Knew there were stairs but be careful as they are not easy to maneuver. Overall good stay.

Apartment was clean and wonderfully furnished. Hosts were gracious and friendly. Location was convenient for quick trips into downtown. Would highly recommend!!

Chicago West End

Apartment was very nice. Would suggest a bedside lamp for reading in bed. Neighborhood was scary and parking was difficult. Had to park halfway down the street and walk back half a block to apartment in sketchy neighborhood. Not knowing area and first time to Chicago, thought we were in Oak Park and not South Austin. What a difference a couple of miles can make. We survive and made two days trips into Chicago with no trouble by car.

Very cute

We really enjoyed our stay! We were very busy and all over the city for the majority of our trip, but it was very nice to come back to a clean, cozy space to spend the nights hanging out. The only qualm we have is the neighborhood was not exactly the most inviting and we experienced some questionable noises during the late hours. We also did not have a vehicle with us, so it was a bit of trek using public transportation. Other than that, we had a lovely time.

Pleasant stay

We had a comfortable and pleasant stay. Kitchen is well equipped. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Check in and getting into the property was super easy . It is an easy 15 min drive to downtown attractions . Bathroom door wouldn’t lock. improvements I would suggest would be to get some shades in the bedrooms so we would not have to wake up super early as rooms get so bright and fix the lock on the bathroom door .
