Set in the heart of Chicago's most prestigious neighborhood, you're 100 yards from the iconic Magnificent Mile, two blocks from the world-class shopping of Oak Street — home to Prada, Hermès, Armani, Louboutin, and more — two blocks from the famous Rush Street restaurants, including the legendary Gibson's Steakhouse, and just a 5-minute walk to the famous Oak Street Beach. The home arrives fully stocked with everything you'd expect: paper towels, toiletries, bath essentials, trash bags, dish soap, spices, and more. Guest Access:

Every entrance to the home is secured with an automated smart lock — your group will receive personalized access codes for the duration of your stay, so there's no need to worry about physical keys or coordinating check-in logistics. Should anything come up during your stay, we're readily available and happy to assist.



For parking, the Gold Coast is exceptionally well-served — more than a dozen garages sit within a two-block radius, offering various options from valet service to in/out privileges to variable-rate daily options. Chestnut Street puts you at the intersection of everything: the sparkling lakefront and Oak Street Beach are a short stroll east, the Magnificent Mile is less than 1 block away, and the boutiques, galleries, and acclaimed restaurants of Rush Street are right around the corner. Whether you're in town for business or pleasure, you'll spend less time in transit and more time living like a local.



Getting Around:

You're in one of the best-located spots in all of Chicago — car optional, adventure mandatory.



On foot: Almost everything you need is walkable. The Magnificent Mile is literally steps from your door, Oak Street Beach is a 5-minute stroll east, and the dining and nightlife of Rush Street and Dearborn are right in the neighborhood. A 99 Walk Score means daily errands rarely require a vehicle.



By train: The Red Line's Chicago Ave station (800 N) is about a 4-minute walk south, connecting you directly to the loop under 10 minutes and to Wrigleyville heading north. The famous 'L' train system of Chicago can get you almost anywhere you are desiring to go.



By bus: Multiple CTA bus routes run along Michigan Ave and State Street, making it easy to get north or south without touching the L. The 151 Sheridan bus runs right along Sheridan/Michigan and hugs the lakefront all the way downtown.



By bike: No need to bring you own bike, Divvy bike-share docks are within a just two blocks away. The Lakefront Trail — one of the most scenic urban bike paths in the country — is just minutes away. Flat terrain makes cycling genuinely pleasant here. Chicago has dedicated bike lanes throughout the city and has initiatives in the works to make it one of the most bike-friendly large cities in the country.

By car: Street parking in the Gold Coast is tight, so if you're driving, plan on a nearby garage. The good news: Michigan Ave and Lake Shore Drive give you fast access north, south, and to the highway system within minutes.

July 31 Update: The property is in final stages of it's renovation and is on schedule to open on September 15th!



CANCELLATION POLICY: We allow cancellations up to 90 days before check-in for a full refund, minus a 3% cancellation fee on any deposits paid via credit card. Our payment processor does not refund the credit card fee, so we simply ask guests to cover that expense in the event they need to cancel more than 90 days before. In the event you need to cancel less than 90 days out, we will do our best to rent the house back out and will refund you the difference if we are able to get a booking over your dates.
