"Its a very out dated facility and not worth the money paid. No smart tv, the blinds dont shut properly so the light(thats never turned off outside) comes through, the bed was very uncomfortable and had a massive lump in the middle, no microwave, no toaster, only had terrible instant coffee, no pod machine, a kettle and long life milk. "Very noisy doors. As it’s an airport hotel people are leaving early, very early, in the morning to catch their flights. The noise of room doors closing woke me up twice!"

"The staff were excellent and very welcoming. However, after a long flight we really needed rest and a chance to recharge our devices. There was not one USB outlet in the room which was very inconvenient. We were also disappointed that there was no hot water for showers in the morning."

"Bed bugs beware room needs fumigating. Initially room looked okay. A bit grubby around door frame light switches. BUT as turning down sheets to go to sleep….spider under one pillow and tiny ants/bugs on the other bed. So daughter and I had to share a bed. Didn’t get much sleep and we were both covered in bed bug and mosquito bites in the morning. Unfortunately too late at night and too far away from anywhere to find another hotel otherwise we would have. "

"The owners of this property are lovely. The is now a cafe there too. What made my stay was a Lindt ball and a biscuit in my room when I arrived. I see less of this these days and was wrapped to see them. Car parking is easy and it’s close to the airport. Nice fresh clean rooms. Oh and a extra pullout mirror to help with makeup. I was grateful that I didn’t have to go out for a meal and have a generous serve chicken schnitzel and eggs and bacon breakfast."

The rates are decent, it’s conveniently located near Northgate train station, and I do appreciate many of the amenities like free onsite laundry facilities, a mini bar and TV with on-demand movies and shows. "One night stay for airport transfer - did not use the shuttle bus (late in early out). Taxi was about $40 - $50 each way - so need to factor into booking. Easy after hours check-in with great communication about the process. "

I got room 205 which was pleasantly located on top of the highway, just metres from roaring trucks and ambulances.
