"The apartment is ideally located with quick access to the water busses and San Marco but enough off the beaten path to avoid the large number of tourists. Agostino is a great host and provided us with valuable information on Venice. My only caution is, if you’re a large person like I am, you might find the bathroom a tight fit. Paying was a painful process involving many communications with the owner to get it finally done. Another learning is to seek an arrival point for the water taxi that is close to the apartment with the fewest bridges with their stair as possible with luggage. The best is St. Samuel, which has no bridges. The apartment itself is fine and the location is good. The owners attitude is oc one...
