Our extended family stayed here for a week, and the layout of the home worked well for a larger group. We had two kids, grandparents, and a nana on the trip, and the house gave us enough space to be together when we wanted and spread out when we needed it. The fully screened-in pool area was the highlight.We also ran into several issues that took away from the stay.Multiple bedroom doors either wouldn’t open or were difficult to close. The ice machine was full of tiny ants, and we found sugar ants around the house every day. The dryer was completely broken, and management didn’t offer any alternative or solution, which made it hard because we rely on doing laundry during a trip like this.The dishwasher filter was dirty and wasn’t draining. We cleaned it the best we could, but it still needs to be replaced. Stock levels were also light on basics like paper towels and dish towels.The biggest issue by far was management. They forgot to pick us up for our departure boat and never called, which put us in a stressful situation at the end of the trip. Combined with the lack of response on the dryer and other items, it’s clear the management company needs to be replaced.The home itself is beautiful and has real potential, but the management and general maintenance need attention before this can be a five-star stay.
