"This is our second time to stay here. We loved it, and came back because it was so quiet and comfortable, and such a beautiful place and view. The yurts are well equipped and clean. The elevation makes for comfortable cool, but not cold, nights. The central sky light is spectacular at night with so many stars. It is calm and quiet and beautiful with various flowers. "We just got home from a week long stay at the Foster Ohia Rental Home. This was our first trip not staying with family locally, so finding this home nearby was perfect. The home was so comfy and included everything you’d need to make your stay enjoyable. It was private and excluded and we already miss going to sleep to the sound of the coquis and waking up to the chirping birds of the forest. Staying up on the hill was much more enjoyable and offered a nice reprieve from the Kona heat. Also...

"This is a beautiful property and very peaceful and calming. We had excellent communication with the manager who really helped us by arranging a washing machine when a prior renter had broken the machine at this cottage. Also, we forgot a ring that has much sentimental value (it got mixed up in the bedding while we were packing to leave). The housekeeper turned it in and the manager contacted us immediately to coordinate it's return. We were already on our way to another part of the island but...

"Lovely place to stay. 1 really tall bed was an adventure to jump into but was fun being so high up off of the ground. The home was really clean and it was a really nice touch with the gift pack. The balcony is really lovely spot early mornings and evenings to chill out on too. "

"Loved our stay here. It was the perfect spot a little off the beaten path that was a great home base for our adventures on the big island. Close enough to everything you need and far enough from the hoardes of tourists, with lots of little shops and spots to check out nearby. As for the space itself, it's super cozy and has an incredible ocean view from the screened in patio. Waking up to that view was one of the best parts of our trip. Would 100% stay here again."

"The cottage was everything we hoped for and more. The cottage was beautifully decorated with many fresh bouquets of plants and flowers. The garden was enchanting. Gale the Host was thoughtful and kind. She greeted us with homemade applebanana bread, a bowl of fresh homegrown papaya, lemon applebanana, and lime. Gale gave us a tour of the entire property and gracious throughout our stay."
