"Beautiful house, super clean with all the amenities you could wish for. There is no WiFi however. The host said there was internet through the telly but there wasn’t and he then stopped communicating whilst we were trying to sort it out."

"Excellent cottage in great location, very close to town but quietly tucked away. Everything you need for a stay, all fixtures and fittings of good quality. Only minor niggle is limited windows that open and shower was very slow to drain otherwise highly recommended."

"First time in Newbiggin and enjoyed it, the town has plenty of resources- a corner shop just round the corner and pubs, takeaways, cafes and a couple of restaurants, a small craft ale bar too. There’s going to be a new bar/café opening any day now just over the road down on the beach which will be handy (and as it’s low down shouldn’t cause any problems). "It was great. Stayed while passing through, so we were only there one night. Close to food. I can’t remember what we did nearby, but it seemed like a nice place to stay for a couple of days. We were heading from Scotland to London though, so no time for a stop. Only thing we found was that there was no oven. Slightly inconvenient since we bought pizzas to cook. Just saved them for the next place. Oh, we did go to the beach by the castle. That was nice. It was late, so the castle was closed, but...
