"Room was clean and refurbished but let down by the bathroom The toilet was badly located and toiletries insufficient ( particularly as there was nowhere to shower in spa) due to no changing rooms being available Parts of the hotel have been refurbished and are lovely although often just superficial but the other parts are very tired and and unloved. "The Bridge Inn at Holmrook. Our room was really comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean and well maintained. The whole of the Bridge Inn is dog friendly and welcoming to our pair of 4paws. The breakfast was brilliant. There's a really good selection to choose from and everything was cooked to perfection. We ate at the Bridge Inn every night because the food was excellent. "Overall the stay was fine, nothing alarming. Hotel looked really nice as we entered. However, the quality and standard of rooms were below expectations of a high reviewed/ star hotel. One example being the bathroom, shower heads were not consistent in the water pressure and so caused a lot of spraying all across. "Car park was full in the evening so had to park in a lay-by nearby. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. We were in a top floor room with a very low ceiling that could do with some padding on the corners as it was a safety hazard."
