Gran lugar tranquilo para descansar y bien ubicado para explorar la zona.Muchas facilidades para la entrada y salida autónoma. Quizás algo más de útiles de cocina hubieran mejorado la estancia, pero en general muy bien.

Perfekter Aufenthalt

Von Anfang an war alles unkompliziert. Die Kommunikation und der Check-in waren reibungslos, was uns einen stressfreien Start in den Urlaub ermöglichte.Die Wohnung selbst war makellos sauber und hielt was versprochen wurde. Besonders genossen haben wir auch die Privatsphäre. Es war herrlich, ganz für sich zu sein und die Ruhe zu genießen.Kurz gesagt: Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, der uns in jeder Hinsicht begeistert hat. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!

Great base for exploring Scottish Highlands

Spacious, well equipped and good value for money. It rains sometimes - it's Scotland - but the surroundings are glorious. We explored Loch Ness with castle Urquhart, saw dolphins at Chanonry Point, got close with hairy coos, went for a walk in Glen Affric and even visited Eilean Donan and completed the Bealach na Bà. Hopefully will be back soon.

Would not return

To start I will sa. I’ve been using VRBO homes overseas & in the states for years. I’ve had a 5 star rating for as long.This was the least fun experience I’ve ever had. It was so unpleasant we actually spent a couple nights in a different location. First the positives. For whatever reason I never got an emailing a final invoice from VRBO on the final invoice so the day before we arrived, late I realized I never got check in instructions. When I went to check my VRBO account I saw I had a balance due. Since it was so late I couldn’t get a hold of anybody to confirm we still had the rental. I was thankful the host was able to let me pay the final amount and still get my room. I’m not sure why I never got a final invoice auto charged but I was thankful for how it turned out. The rest of the trip felt like we didn’t have privacy in the apartment. For starters the shower opens up into a hallway to the front door that has a very large window with glass in it. This wouldn’t have been so weird if you didn’t have multiple golfers walking by it and looking in daily. The first weekend a large group of men checked in to, 2 of the apartments behind us. They were having a good time congregated in one apartment. They left the door to their room open so it was loud until

Calme et confort chez Carole

Carole est une hôte très discrète, mais très disponible. Le cottage est très agréable à vivre, très confortable, très bien aménagé. Nous avons apprécié le calme de ce très bel endroit. C'était notre point de chute pour visiter Inverness et le loch Ness. Merci Carole !

Divine and beautiful

The house was lovely and cosy and we had wide information about what we could do in the area thanks to Carol’s information. We truly enjoyed our stay and we had beautiful memories relaxing and seeing the beauty of the pond and views. The place is a 20 minutes from Inverness and 30 minutes aprox to Lochness. We had time to go to Fall Divach, Fairy Glen in Rosemarkie and watching dolphins in Chanonry Point. Beauly was very close to buy groceries and had nice dinner.

Traumhaft schön !!!

Direkt an einem Golfplatz befindet sich das Haus. Die Lage ist wunderschön, sehr ruhig und die Vermieterin ist super nett. Wer die Ruhe liegt, kommt hier auf seine Kosten.

Hübsche Ferienwohnung

Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt sehr schön. In der alten Molkerei war alles vorhanden was gebraucht wird. Wir haben von dort aus einzelne Tagesausflüge in die Highlands unternommen. Einziger und auch größter Kritikpunkt war der leicht muffige Geruch in der Wohnung. Ich bin nicht sicher ob es nur daran lag, dass es während unseres Aufenthalts sehr viel geregnet hat.

Pleasent stay at Aigas Old Dairy

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Aigas Holiday Cottages during my trip to the stunning Inverness and surrounding areas. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that we had chosen the perfect accommodation for our vacation. The cottage itself was immaculate and cozy, providing enough comfort. The kitchen allowed us to prepare some of our own meals, and the living area was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploration. We had the chance to wash some of our clothes in the laundry room. A dish washer was missed, but it was of course no problem to wash by hand some days. During our stay, we had the opportunity to visit several incredible sites nearby. Exploring Inverness, a city steeped in history and culture, and the Highland Games was a delightful experience. The mystical Loch Ness with Castle Urquhart were definetely worth to visit. The serene beauty of Glen Affric and the cascading waterfalls at Plodda Falls and Dog Falls provided some of the most picturesque moments of our trip. And of course, no visit to the region would be complete without a tour of the Glen Ord Distillery, where we learned about the whisky-making process and sampled some truly exquisite single malts. In summary, our stay at Aigas Holiday Cottages was everything we could have hoped for and more. The beautiful cottage, coupled with the stunning natural surroundings and the warm hospitality of the hosts, made our trip to Inverness unforgettable.

Location golf and nature :-)

So nice to be able to chill out and tee off at 8pm on a summers evening in a silent valley and being able to walk 50m from the 9th hole to the cottage. Everyone very friendly and helpful too

Lieu de charme et de tranquillité

Le gite est idéalement situé en pleine campagne mais non loin de la charmante bourgade de Beauly, à une vingtaine de minutes d'inverness et de Drumnadrochit; les propriétaires sont très aimables et accueillants, disponibles. Nous avons apprécié la paix des lieux, leur propreté et leur confort.

Ein ruhiger und entspannter Aufenthalt

Wir waren im August 17 im Aigas Golfclub zu Gast ( 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder 5 und 10 Jahre ) . Haben dort eine Ferienwohnung für 13 Tage angemietet. Der Kontakt über Fe-Wo-direkt kam zügig und ohne Probleme zustande. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gepflegt, wenn auch ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Strom musste man am Abreisetag noch zusätzlich je nach Verbrauch bezahlen. ( Darauf wurde man aber im Vorfeld hingewiesen ). Da die Wohnung relativ kalt war, musste man mit Elektroheizung heizen, was am Ende wahrscheinlich den meisten Verbrauch ausmachte. Die Vermieter waren freundlich. Es gab eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner, was mit Kindern natürlich Top ist! Alles in allem weiterzuempfehlen, wenn man es ruhig mag und ein wenig abgeschieden. Aigas eignet sich super als Ausgangspunkt für viele tolle Ausflüge in die Highlands, Inverness, Culloden, Fort George, Fort William und sehr viele mehr!!
