Old Town Vibe is an amazing place to stay. You can’t beat the location. We would definitely book again if back in Bari

Our room was on the first floor with a balcony that looked out onto the square Largo Albicocca - which is a perfect example of authentic, beautiful Bari. The nonnas chat and hang out their washing by day and by night, the lights go on and the place is simply magical! The square is very noisy but with your door shut, you will not hear anything, the sound-proofing is excellent! Even the muffled thuds of the music from the trattoria downstairs (an excellent combination of dining and partying!) never go on past half eleven at night. David, the host, was contactable via Whats App and was very friendly and helpful with the easy check-in and check-out process. The room was neat and clean, we had our own little fridge and was the place cleaned during our stay as well. Overall, an incredibly convenient base in a fantastic location - could not recommend it more!

Convenient location at a picturesque old town square, lively, but noise isolating windows. Cute balcony with a view and terrace. Extremely steep stairs, careful! Lovely and friendly host.

The room was amazing but access to it a bit tricky up two flights of a circular staircase - I appreciate that David, our host, explained this on the app but the tread of the stairs are short so you just have to be careful. The rooms are not cleaned nor beds made throughout your stay - it’s very much a DIY service with towels and toilet rolls available for you to take from a room below. On the whole, the room was in a fantastic location, close to lots of restaurants and shops.

The room and bathroom were both very attractive and well-appointed. A small balcony looking out over the square was just large enough for two to sit out and enjoy the sun. Only warning would be for anyone with mobility issues as the internal staircase is a spiral one and not really made with suitcases in mind. My wife and I are 62 and 60 and we were fine. The square itself was very busy, but we liked that. Three restaurants below us, one especially lively where we ate most nights. Lots of shops within 100 yards including a pharmacy, which we needed, and a delightful gelato parlour called Gentile, opposite the castle. Owner was responsive to calls and kind with his advice. Two guests staying for five nights, we could have used a few extra team-bags. I realise It is a courtesy to find a kettle and some tea and coffee in the room, but when the room is not being made up daily, as it would be in a hotel, it's probably worth providing a bit more for our convenience. The room and location are superb, as long as you're both fit and mobile.

I loved the building, the location, the roof top and we received excellent attention from David. The lady who was in charge of the cleanning was very kind and helpful. The place was neat! Gratzie Mille per tutti

The perfect location in Bari Vecchia. We stayed on the third floor, with a cute balcony overlooking the beautiful piazza. Walkable to everywhere you’d need locally, with amazing food and drink options right on the doorstep. Don’t be put off by the piazza outside, it’s lively and a great atmosphere, but as soon as you close the balcony door it’s silent! Within an easy walk of Bari Centrale railway station, it was also a great base for short train journeys to Polignano and Monopoli! Great communication from the host, with some excellent recommendations for food, drinks and activities. Quick to respond to any queries via WhatsApp and offered us free safe storage for our luggage after checkout time! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. There’s only 3 rooms so don’t miss out if you see availability
