Perfect for families!

Everything! Each room served it purpose! The boys had their own room and were very comfortable! We loved our master suite! Bathroom was beautiful! As a family we spent time around the dining table and in the super great pool & patio! Totally recommend!

Home away from Home!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this Vacasa property! The house was absolutely beautiful—immaculately clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The AC worked perfectly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The amenities were top-notch, and everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. One of the best parts was that we got to bring our Bernedoodle, Odin, which made the trip even more special. The pool and outdoor grill were pure awesomeness—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather. And a big shoutout to the property manager, David—he was awesome to work with and made everything so easy. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly getaway!

Beautiful Home

Your mouth drops open when you enter through the front door. The backyard and amenities are off the chain. Very quiet neighborhood in a beautiful setting. Stores and most everything you need are close by. Austin downtown is 30 minutes. We will stay here again

Great stay

We were here for a funeral in Lakeway- the house was perfect for my husband and me, 2 adult children and pups! The house was great- we had some family over for dinner one night and the house dining and kitchen area flowed really well. Honestly, probably too big for us, but it was nice to spread out. We didn't get to use the pool- but it was nice to sit around. I would highly recommend for the area- very reasonably priced. The management company granted our request for an early check in- but only did so a few hours before 4 pm check in. We had a 5 hour drive from east Texas so the notice was too late for us. But it was no reflection on the owners or the house. We've stayed in a lot of VRBOs- preferring them to hotels any day- and this one ranked up in our top 5. Would stay again for sure.

Spring Break 2024

We spent our kid's spring break here in April and found the home to be everything we would want. The nearby park, sunrise/sunset lookout, pool, and comfortable rooms made for a leisurely stay. Restaurants and stores nearby added to the convenience. A short 25 minute drive to downtown, or even shorter 10 minute drive to Lake Travis, allowed us to experience Austin from a variety of angles. This location set us up with an easy to navigate home base. The dual HVAC allowed us to keep the main floor and upstairs properly cooled. Pool was clean, and despite being early in the season and still a bit cool, we all enjoyed the gorgeous pool and pool deck. Am sure after a couple more weeks of warmth, the pool will be ideal. Finally, the neighborhood is exceptional and really sets your mind at ease as you pull in. The neighborhood can frequently be an unknown when booking these but this one really shined.

Ok stay, room for improvement

Overall, it’s a nice house. However, owners were unresponsive our entire stay. Trash cans were full upon arrival. We didn’t know what day to take the trash to the street and couldn’t get an answer. The pool/spa controls don’t work, so the pool water was still, hot, and dirty. There was also random laundry in the dryer. Checkout also asked to put a load in the washer machine, yet there was no detergent. Dishwasher also didn’t clean well, guess that’s why some utensils were dirty upon arrival. For the high price per night, we just expected more.

Beautiful home in a great location

Overall this was a beautiful home. It is in a very nice neighborhood and you can get to almost everything in Austin within 20 minutes. The house itself was great for our family of four. Two bedrooms upstairs with the master downstairs. The pool and backyard are great for hanging out, watching TV from the pool or the couches. The gas grill doesn’t work but there is a big green egg. The master bedroom is hotter than the rest of the house which is important if you are a hot sleeper. The only downside is the property management. When we arrived on Saturday we found that the light in the upstairs bathroom wasn’t working. The Vacasa staff took until Tuesday to resolve it. The responses were generic and not helpful. But overall we had a great time.

Safety Issues & Patio Unusable

Beautiful home and neighborhood. All beds had hair and stains in sheets and bedding. Property maid came and serviced the next day. The wash machine was loaded with thick layer of black mold in the soap dispenser and throughout all of the inside of the machine and the dryer was full of random laundry. The pool was dirty, and the filter was not working and the pool was turned off - this was not fixed until day 3 of our 5 days. We could not cook on the grill because there were rodents living in it - this became a safety concern for the family and we did not use the TV or lounge for sports as planned. The outdoor furniture was covered in thick dirt and we could not use it. The fire pit/table was not working. There were cigarette butts in the planter and dog poo throughout the grassy areas so we could not walk in those areas. The property manager told us he would give us a partial refund but after our stay he never responded to our phone/text/emails. We would not recommend this property because you cannot trust that your family will be safe. We booked for the patio, and we were unable to use it even the large picnic table and chairs would have needed soap and water and lots of scrubbing before anyone could eat there. We sat inside and looked out at the useless patio missing our opening day of baseball and brats.

Pool House

We stayed here for a few days in July with our 2 kids and small infant. I would stay here again, however there are a few opportunities for improvement. The pool is perfect and fun. The location is easy to find and the neighborhood has good views. Easy access to shops, groceries, etc. I especially loved the different books and character the home had. Plenty of space for a small family or group of friends. A couple of things I wish were changed: the thermostat was off when we arrived and the house was super hot. It took at least 24 hours for the house to cool down but the master room never quite reached a cool temperature for our entire stay. We found a fan in the closet which we had to use for the entire stay in the master. The kitchen didn’t seemed to have basic equipment you would expect to have in order to cook for a family or group size. We couldn’t find any spoon cookware for mixing, large pans or large baking sheets. We made due with what the kitchen had. Also, the pool spa didn’t work, it wouldn’t heat or turn on for bubbles. And the bathtub in the master has a control for bubbles but that didn’t seem to work either. Not a big deal but it’s a bit disappointing. Even with these flaws our kids loved the house and we would stay here again.
