"My husband and I along with 2 siblings and good friend spent 2 lovely nights here for our grandsons graduation. The house has been beautifully remodeled so the kitchen and 2 upstairs BR are large and bright. The kitchen is well stocked with Keurig and drip coffee pots and coffee and tons of staples (spices, pancake mix, syrup). The owners live in town and are very gracious hosts. Highly recommend! "

"We rented this home for the second time to bring our extended family (kids and grandkids ages 2-8) for a weekend. The house was beautiful, clean, spacious, and had something for everyone to do. "House was perfect for our family. We needed extra room for visitors during the day. The living room/kitchen area is spacious and the deck area also has plenty of seating. We also loved the bedrooms for the kids! The lake was gorgeous! House is right on the water with a nice beach area as well. Had chairs, beach towels and a kayak for us to use. Plan to rent again in the future! "

"My husband and I and our two kids (5 and 8) stayed here during an Iowa road trip. The apartment was exactly as listed- clean, spacious, updated, and adorably decorated. Wonderful access to shops, food, and the lake. Erin was quickly responsive (within a few minutes) to questions during our planning stages and during our stay. Wonderful host! Highly recommend!"

"Check in was very easy and communication with host was good. We stayed for a celebration of life for ironically enough for a member of the family that grew up in this home. So we had spent time at the home. Host allowed us to check out the attic area when we requested this. Being an old home there were some issues. The oldest bathroom shower water went to nothing and then freezing cold. I can understand this happening but a warning is recommended. Instructions for the TV were not provided....

"The bed in the main room is terrible. Might as well sleep on a box spring. 1 out of 10 for comfort on the matress alone. Curtains did not go to the top of the window and the light blazed right in when the day light started. The location was great and it was clean, nicely decorated."

"We celebrated my mother’s 90th birthday here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The layout was ideal for a large family gathering—plenty of space for everyone to relax and connect without ever feeling crowded. The home was easy to access for guests of all ages, and the beautiful view added a touch of serenity to every moment. It truly felt like a place where memories were meant to be made. Highly recommend for any special occasion!"
