"We had a wonderful one night stay at the WMI. The property is beautiful, we loved the decor, the staff is incredibly nice and the owner is extremely friendly. We enjoyed happy hour and the breakfast the next morning was delicious and with a wonderful view of the mountains. We will definitely stay here again hopefully soon! "

"The House on Chase Creek is absolutely amazing! My husband and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary and I’ve been telling him about Shelter Island literally for almost 40 years. Well we finally made it and the trip, the home, the welcoming of my dog, was all so just so welcoming and nice. Bill, the proprietor, took great care to answer any questions and tell us about the Island. Then we enter the most immaculate room, as clean as the ritz! "This place is gorgeous, clean and it has everything a family needs for a weekend getaway, including board games and books. The kitchen had a keurig coffee machine, snacks, utensils and appliances to cook proper meals. The room had its own thermostat and blankets for winter. I would only suggest to offfer paper cups for the coffee for those who need to leave early morning. The lock instructions were clear too."

"We loved this property. It was just what we were looking for…. Charming, thoughtfully planned, well decorated with fun extras. The hot tub, nature trail, pool table and games added special touches that helped us relax and enjoy spending time together. We stayed in suite 2 which had everything we needed noises maker, coffee, chocolate. I felt welcomed and thought of. Would definitely come back. "
