Lovely Home in a Great Location

This lovely home had everything we needed to enjoy our Asheville stay. Every detail of the home was well thought out. The owner was was awesome and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

A Great Escape

This property was wonderful. My husband, dog, and I wanted to take a quick trip for Labor Day weekend and this location did not disappoint. It was just a minute from the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway, not far from the Biltmore, and fairly close to a lot of popular hiking spots. Downtown Asheville was only a 10-15 minute easy drive, and it was only 10 min from a Walmart for groceries. I am a stickler for cleanliness, and this place did not disappoint, even with it being pet friendly. Like others mentioned, the property owner left dog bags and treats for our pup, which was a thoughtful touch. The house was stocked with the essentials we needed, and it came with enough toilet paper for our stay. Like a few others mentioned, we did have a little trouble with the sink water being yellow/cloudy, but it wasn’t anything we couldn’t deal with. We just bought a couple gallon water jugs at Walmart. The booking does not mention that there is a guest house right behind this property, with the front door right outside the master bedroom/bathroom of this rental. There was a couple and a dog staying there, and we were not made aware of this. However, we had no issues and were just sure to avoid the others and their dog. Otherwise, this property was great. The host was easy to reach, and the check in process was great. Would highly recommend.

Great property and host. Very clean. Somewhat isolated from nearby restaurants but not an issue as it provided a very quiet and restful stay. Great hosts. She watched the weather and supplied water in case we lost power. Would definitely stay again if in Asheville.

Family Getaway

My family headed to Asheville for a vacation. We really needed to unplug and getaway. The Rosie offered us a perfect oasis to do exactly that. It was situated in a great location; close enough to downtown Asheville for easy access, but far enough to give us the solitude we needed. Our two little ones loved the house with its game room and comfotable sitting areas. The front porch with its swing proved to be one of our favorite spots to hang out and listen to beautiful sounds of nature around us.

Perfect mountain getaway

What an awesome home! Perfect for families or smaller parties. Only 10 mins to Asheville on a very drivable road (some roads in the area can be daunting or intimidating). Easy check in/out process. It was very clean, smelled great, and well-appointed. Literally no negatives whatsoever. Would definitely love to return in the future.

This house is lovely. Colorful decor, lots of attention to detail for travelers’ needs (soft towels, cozy bathrobes, fresh kitchen sponge, coffee, cooking oil, soap and laundry/dishwasher detergent all provided).

Super Comfortable In Serene Setting

Two couples stayed in The Rosie. We found it to be very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The house had everything you need and Marisa, the owner, was very thoughtful in providing all the essentials and then some. Loved the screened in porch and back patio. Private home in a convenient location to town, hiking, etc. Check in/out was a breeze. We can't wait to go back!

Such a lovely home!

We really really enjoyed staying here! The house itself is so nicely furnished. We had everything we needed. I really appreciated that there was an outlet for phone chargers, etc. on each side of both beds. We also enjoyed being outside of downtown Asheville but close enough to drive in if we wanted to. The location is nice and quiet. Can't recommend enough!

Relaxing, cozy stay

Spring in the south is unpredictable. The good news is we were happy to stay in and relax when our planned outdoor adventures turned frigid. The house is comfortable, has all the amenities of home and Marisa is a lovely hostess. Great location to downtown, hiking and shopping.

Great time with my family

The property is great. Highly recommended. Processing the rental was fast and easy, and the property owner provided great communication and follow-up. She even provided treats for our dog! We had a slight issue with one of the TVs, and the property owner provided a small discount for this issue. Completely unsolicited by us. She just offered and promptly processed the refund. That is customer service! As I said…. Highly recommended!

Perfect location - beautiful space

The location of this property is prime for Asheville area attractions, downtown and Biltmore are short ride. House was clean, well stocked and welcoming. Host communication was great. Very nice experience.

Great pet friendly place to stay!

Rosie had everything we needed including a nicely stocked kitchen with all the basics. It is conveniently located for access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and not too far from the Biltmore House. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Asheville.

Beautiful and peaceful!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Rosie residence. Marisa was wonderful in communicating everything we needed for our stay prior to, and available to us during. The place was clean and comfortable and very relaxing. A beautiful property situated in a perfect place. Minutes from blue ridge parkway, downtown, everything! Highly recommended!

Serene and Beautiful

Wonderful quiet setting in Asheville that is close to downtown and the Biltmore. The house is simply wonderful - everything we could have asked for and then some. I highly recommend this place.

Loved it!

One of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had! I truly felt like I was at a hotel, everything was so great. The mattress, sheets, and pillows were all so comfortable and clean. The host had thought of so many small details that made us feel at home and the house was really spacious and well appointed. Would definitely stay here again!

Great way to visit Asheville

Marisa’s place was fantastic. As described in the listing, the home had all you would need for a stay in this lovely part of North Carolina. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well equipped if you decided to eat in. Our group prepared only breakfast, but we could see there was enough for all occasions. We visited Biltmore and the River Arts District, the drove some of the Parkway. Access to all theses places was easy from the home, while remaining peaceful for our sleep. Marisa was quick to respond to questions we had and was clear in her communication. Would recommend staying here to any kind of folk who simply get fed up of hotel living.
