"My family and I stayed at the cabin for 4 days during my daughter's winter break. It had everything we needed to manage the little ones, cook, relax, and have fun. There are many forest roads about 100 yards away for a morning hike. The local grocery was very close and convenient. The space is nice for a family with little ones. There was a creek running behind the cabin that the kids enjoyed walking down and there was a private lake with a playground that we got to explore."

"We stayed there for a few nights and had a great time. The cabin was clean, and spacious. The view from the deck was awesome and he grill made the experience even better. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows very soft. The only thing to complaint about is the downstairs shower and sink don't drain properly and it needs fixing. Other than that our experience was very good and will be staying there again."

"My two kids and dog stayed in this cabin for two nights. It was easy to find and located very close to local snow activity areas. The cabin was quite spacious, we only needed one floor, but it could easily accommodate more people. The kitchen had all the necessary basics. There was a nice hill on the side for sledding and the heating system worked well. We especially enjoyed the large kitchen table. Host was quick to reply to a message I sent."

"That's what our kiddo asked as we were packing up. Which shows how well our family vacation went. The cabin is AWESOME, everything is as described and WORKS. We've stayed at places where it's not and the host will ghost you as soon as you check in. Not here. Gary is an excellent host- he checked in with us, is knowledgeable about the area, and responsive! It's nice to communicate with a real human! The cabin is absolutely the perfect home away from home. We can't wait to go back!"

"Each time we have visited we have been so happy with how well this cabin is stocked. We cook every night and the kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, cutlery and knives. Some essentials are always there as well. Everything is clean and it all makes for a great stay. Looking forward to our next visit."

FYI-I never give 5 stars because to me, that indicates perfection and IMHO, anything can be improved. "We had a great time with my family of four and our two small dogs. There was plenty of room and it was a great location. The pilot light was out in the fireplace, but that was fixed within an hour, thank you very much. There was also no sponge to wash dishes, but that was fixed quickly as well. Plenty of room in the cabin to relax and play. Close to snow. We loved that the back deck was fenced for our dogs. Overall we were very happy and would go back."

The kitchen was stocked with most things we needed, and the Big Trees Market was just across the street to pick up whatever wasn't in the kitchen. The location was great and easy to find.
