Cute cozy getaway

Cozy and comfortable

We enjoyed our long weekend here. The neighborhood was nice for long walks and very quiet. Close to downtown restaurants and a quick drive to White Pine Lake.

Father's day

Spent Father's Day at White pines lake and then went to the cabin for a wonderful evening to barbecue and spend time with the family before heading home everything was there we needed great spot

Great Experience!

Everything about our stay was great! The owner made everything very easy. The house is awesome for families, it was clean & had the perfect cozy mountain vibe! Our kids loved having their own space downstairs. Overall, a well thought out vrbo rental for guests & very nice owner.

Great Spot

We had a business meeting and didn't want to stay in a hotel! We had a fabulous dinner together and felt at home in this cute amazing house. We had enough room to enjoy conversation on the deck!

Great vacation home in Arnold!

We had a wonderful stay at this home! The owners did a terrific job updating the house and it is very comfortable and well appointed. We had our family of four and another family of five, and it was plenty of room. The central AC is awesome during the hot summer days. The deck is great, the house is very private, and a short drive to the clubhouse and private lakes. Highly recommend!

Lovely house

Spent two night celebrating husband’s bday here. Every inch of this house was extremely clean! From the cozy living room, wonderful outdoor deck with table chairs, sitting area and lounge chairs, to the dreamy king bed, everything was perfect. No driveway or garage, but parking literally out the front door made acceding the house super easy! We can’t wait to come back with our teens - expansive downstairs great room with shuffle board and more was perfect for a family! Thank you for a great stay!

Enjoyed New Years with our family

We spent 5 nights at the cabin with our four adult children over New Year’s and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The cabin was the perfect size for our family and the location was conveniently located close to town and restaurants and groceries. It’s also situated in a cul de sac so it was peaceful and there was virtually no traffic at all. We watched football on the huge TV above the fireplace and played board games every night. Great place for a family gathering in both summer and winter since it is located within Blue Lake Springs. We highly would recommend Oscar’s place!

Ruined weekend

We were planning to spend a long Martin Luther King weekend back in January with our kids (6 years old and 4 month old baby) and another family (2 adults and 2 kids). After reading the description of the place we thought Oscar’s cabin would be a good place to stay at. But right before the trip my husband and I got sick with Covid. We could not cancel the trip so we decided that the other family will go anyway and will invite the other family (2 adults and 2 kids) instead. When they arrived they realized that the room downstairs was not meant for sleeping or even playing in. It was freezing as the space was not well Insulated. At 1st the owner was responsive and tried to help and explained the door was replaced b4 but not sealed properly. Oscar also brought wood for the fireplace downstairs. But when the other family tried to warm up the space with a fireplace, they got all smoked in the following night. They had to open all windows and doors at 2am and had to wake up everyone including kids. As a result they had to sleep in a living room upstairs on a couch for the rest of the stay. All attempts to get in touch with the owner were unsuccessful. My husband and I felt really bad for our friends and their friends because of the nightmare they had to go through. We submitted the ticket with Vrbo and followed up twice but nothing came out of it.
