Built in 185, it is constructed of wood and is 45 feet tall.
Grand Island is located in Lake Superior near Munising in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The island is perfect for hiking and biking day or overnight trips. No motor vehicles allowed. We stayed in one of the camping cabins, but tent campsites are more numerous. Plan to make reservations.
