Nice location. The cabin was was warm and inviting wirh a great view. The sauna and hot tub were nice. Spacious basement family area. A dishwasher would be nice and a few more serving bowls in the kitchen.

My husband, myself and another couple enjoyed this cabin for a lovely winter weekend getaway in the woods. The hot tub and sauna were the perfect touch and the view is beautiful. Everything was in great condition and the cabin was cozy, especially with the wonderful wood fireplace. We took advantage of the snowshoes and went on the trail conveniently located at the end of the driveway. Aitkin had some adorable antique shops and the brewpub in town had great food. It was a great weekend getaway and I highly recommend it:)

Entire facility was nice and clean. Family friendly with boating options, sauna, lots of games. Very nice fire pit location (we didn't get to use it because of rain). Great communication from owner. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful cabin and location! Dave was a fantastic host. Loved having the pontoon boat available. Boat instructions were perfect and easy to follow. Caught bass, perch, bluegill and crappie. Weather was cooler than expected, so fire pit was enjoyed! Check out the Block North Brewery and Restaurant. We considered it a bonus find on our trip. Awesome food, beer and extensive menu. A must do in Aitkin! Highly recommend Sullivan Lake Chalet!

Wonderful getaway with kids!We had such a great stay at this private lakefront chalet. The pontoon was a huge hit, and there was plenty to do for the whole family. The home was comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed. A perfect spot for a relaxing and fun family vacation!

My family rented Dave’s cabin for the weekend. We ran in to the nice cleaning lady on the way in, she was super friendly and walked me around a little even wanted to make sure the gas for the pontoon was topped off so we would not have to refill it. The pontoon, fishing boat and kayaks were a nice perk. While on the lake a very nice local gave us two tubs for wax worms and took us to a fishing hot spot. We were able to catch fish every cast or every other cast. We caught perch, crappies, bass, northern pike, and bull head.I would highly recommend Dave’s cabin, his instructions and suggestions of what to bring was very useful. Thank you for renting your home to us, we made great memories. Would rent again.

Check in was easy. Everything was clean. It was a nice, quiet property, perfect for our family trip. The couple things we weren't thrilled about: we didn't find refill garbage bags for bathroom garbage. Not all of the burners worked on the stove. Some of the dishes were dirty. The cutting board was terrible. The couches need to be updated, because they couldn't be sat on without the cushions sliding off.

The property is as described. It is clean and stocked with everything you will need for your stay. The pontoon is an added bonus. We had fun floating in the lake and motoring around on the boat. Dave is on the spot with his communication. We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Lake Get Away

Dave offers all the amenities for a lake stay with a beautiful north woods lake property. Our family had a wonderful weekend enjoying the lake house and the lake. Memories were made and a great time was had. It checked all the boxes for our family’s stay.
