Kitchen had a lot of amenities - spices, tea, sugar, coffee, cleaning supplies which was very helpful. Cabin was very comfortable and the wood stove was very helpful during very cool evenings as the heating system was not very warm.The sitting was comfortable for evening.The screened in porch was very restful and a great place to read with a view.The dock was fun for spouse to fish off.

This is an updated old fashioned lake cabin. The separate guest cabin is nice for privacy. The added amenities of the pontoon and firewood makes this a real value rental.

We had a fantastic time. Clean cabin. Comfortable beds. Pontoon was a bonus amd all the bonfires. Woke to a dead car battery. Lindsey was very responsive. A special thanks to her kids who came out to help with a dead battery. Five star. Will definitely be back.

This is the most beautiful and special cabin! The property is so well kept and the amenities are exceptional. The lake is quiet and safe but still great for water sports. The hosts are fantastic. I couldn't love it more. Will be making this visit a yearly tradition for sure! Thank you so much!

This is a simply perfect place. Quiet, beautiful property with easy access to Crosslake for groceries and restaurants. The pontoon was a huge bonus. The lake is small but was never crowded, the loons were active and melodic. Hosts were timely with communication and easy going. We look forward to booking again.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this very authentic northwoods cabin. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating and the property is very well maintained. We especially enjoyed the pontoon boat, expansive patio, and adjacent screened in space. We also appreciated that they welcome dogs, great stay overall.

This is our 3rd time staying at the white cabin and as always we love it. The pontoon is so relaxing and fishing is great! We really enjoyed listening to the loons and seeing them. Roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and hotdogs in the evening is the best as well.

3 nights was not long enough! We had a fantastic time fishing, relaxing by the fire and taking the boat out for a cruise. We went into town for just a bit one day and our kids begged us to go back to the cabin. We’d book this one again for sure!

paradise found!

Beautiful cottage on quiet O'Brien Lake near Crosslake. It is perfect for four people as there is a guest cottage with its own bedroom and bathroom but the main cottage could sleep four on its own if your party has six people. The hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating and the rental includes a pontoon, a highlight of our week. Add the firepit and the screened-in porch overlooking the lake and it is the perfect place if you're looking for solitude. This is our second stay at this property and we highly recommend it!

Lovely retreat

The cabin is lovely and well equipped. The screen porch was my favorite spot to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Very nice pontoon which made it easy to enjoy all that the lake offered.

We had a wonderful stay....everything was so comfortable, charming and perfect for our short getaway. Having the pontoon boat as well as the canoe to use was an added bonus. We would highly recommend a stay at the lovely Lake O'Brien cabin.

Relaxing Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the white cabin. Jeff and Lindsay are great hosts and were very responsive to questions. The fireplace was already lit when we arrived, which was very nice. There was uncertainty as to whether the pontoon would still be available in mid-October but we were fortunate that it was! My dad enjoyed being able to go out and catch some large mouth bass. We will definitely be back again!

Oozing with charm

This property will not disappoint! The main cabin is vintage in all the right ways in terms of interior aesthetic and modern in the places you want it to be, like the kitchen and bathroom. The guest cottage is perfection - looks and feels like a 5 start hotel. The outdoor spaces are plentiful with an expansive paved patio for eating and bonfires, gorgeous screened in porch perched over the lake, and large dock. We loved the separate spaces so our family could spread out when desired. Property looks exactly like photos and is clean and nicely appointed. Hosts are wonderful!

Modern Nostalgia

This property has a 50s feel with up to date amenities. A beautiful, peaceful location. Very clean, comfortable and cozy. The separate guest suite and the outdoor screened room gives privacy when wanted. A sauna and pontoon included is awesome. I would highly recommend this property.
