My brothers and I really enjoyed our stay at Henley Beach. It was the perfect place to return to aircon comfort after some hot days at the cricket! We enjoyed its proximity to very good local pubs and the beach. Outside in the evenings with a bbq was very relaxing. Foxtel a bonus. Bridget was terrific and responded to any requests very promptly, including giving us a later checkout and allowing us to leave our bags there before our flights later in the day.

We’ve had the worst experience staying at this property. The property is NOT renovated. I few of the rooms have been badly painted and in recent years a kitchen has been replaced but other then that everything is very old. We found the house stunk heavily of old dog. The floors and carpets very filthy to the point that bare feet and socks were covered in a thick film. The house has stuff stored everywhere it’s advertised as sleeping 11 however that means you have numerous fold up beds and old smelly bedding in areas you’d otherwise want to use such as a walk in dressing area or spare bedroom. The wardrobes stuffed full of old spare equipment which means storage for your personal items is limited to near non existent. During our stay we had an infestation of ants inside the house which meant numerous food items spoilt. Rat traps are left outside at knee height clearly advertised as not safe for children and rats can be seen walking around the outside of the property on a daily basis. We found numerous dead rats outside and even one inside the house.

Perfect all round :)

Bridget is absolutely wonderful to deal with. We are a large family and it isn’t easy to find accomodation that works for us and our fur baby. This house was perfect. Really lovely house and location. The outdoor dining area and super secure backyard gave us peace of mind when we couldn’t bring our fur baby with us. Highly recommended. If we come back for the Easter Classic again we would definitely stay again. Super clean, comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need and more.

Lovely Henley Beach property

Lovely property made even better with Bridget as the host. Bridget is prompt and accommodating with all our questions/requests. A nice breakfast was included which the kids loved. Close to everything we needed & the amazing restaurants in Henley Beach. We enjoyed our stay & would stay here again next time we are in Adelaide :)

Amazing location In a gorgeous town

Just a 7 minute to a beautiful white sandy pet friendly beach and many lovely cafes. A very gorgeous leafy city and many quirky fun small towns sprinkled around Adelaide. We loved our holiday and highly recommend this fantastic home with very helpful owners.

Great family home

Just spent 10 days in Adelaide in this wonderful family home at Henley Beach. Location was perfect (close to the softball grounds, beaches, places to eat and not to mention drive to the city). Comfortable, clean, plenty of linen/towels, cooking utensils- great outdoor/indoor area for relaxing, choices of BBQ/weber for us to use and a lovely garden area to sit and enjoy. Our wonderful host Bridget went above and beyond with supplies and extras that made our stay enjoyable and perfect (like home away from home). Would definitely stay there again.

Family interlude

We were in Adelaide for a family wedding. Three generations from three different states. Bridget was amazingly helpful and cooperative with both our check in time and also gave us late check out. The house was clean and comfortable. As she had told us there was a playground across the road for the children and lots of toys and games in the house. Beach quite close. She had stocked the fridge with lots of goodies which was a lovely surprise! (The only thing we couldn’t find was pepper!) Laundry facilities; ironing board, washing line; everything we needed. A recommended holiday destination. Thank you Bridget.

Great place to ‘park ourselves’ for a family holiday. Very pet friendly which suited us very well. Communication with owners was excellent . Quiet area. Lovely to have a wine & beer chilling when we arrived.

Perfect in Every Way

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, it was perfect. Bridget went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, and even helped us with some extra supplies. The house was fully stocked and had everything we needed. The location was minutes walk to the beach and shops. The outdoor area perfect to catch the sun, or lay in the shade. And it was very private. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely stay again. A real home away from home!

Family wedding

After two years apart we gathered for our daughters wedding. The Henley house was great accommodating six of us plus a dog. Really comfortable house with everything we need. Great location close to shops and beach. Thank you for the welcoming goodies Bridget, we loved our stay.

Henley Beach vacation

Bridget is a great host - she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional. The breakfast pack including cereal, bread, bacon and eggs and fruit was fantastic and there was also a bottle of wine which was very enjoyable. Our little dog loved the outdoor undercover area and backyard. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels in the linen press. There were plenty of pantry staples including coffee pods for the Nespresso machine. I would highly recommend this home for a vacation.

I must say the owner was very very helpful went out of her way to make you welcome turning the AC on before arriving on a hot day , leaving a bottle of wine and made up croissants, very lovely lady and the house was amazing clean and roomy Gave me a refund when she didn’t have to because of COVID AMust Stay
