Pool, spa were down for renovations but it didn’t state this clearly on the Expedia website. The staff member m made us feel stupid for booking on Expedia because we didn’t book direct and asked us to call incase there was renovations next time, which i have never done. The older gentlemen at the reception was very rude, not even a smile. Not a im sorry your feeling upset, maybe I can make it better. We had a glitch with our booking on Expedia where breakfast was meant to be included but there was a fault on Expedia’s side and the gentlemen offered no assistance. First night away from our baby ever and I had a hard time and I felt so let down. It was my birthday and I felt so upset he made no effort to make it better for us, not even a discount for breakfast. I found the service appalling this time around. A chip in the bath also, and it cut my foot and also just an all around bad experience. Made me feel stupid for not calling up to find out if the pool was not being renovated. With a young baby, searching through ever t&c was just not heard of and booking direct would have meant a more expensive room fee when we had a credit on Expedia to use. We used to love staying here over the years but we won’t be again. Disappointing as some of our biggest milestones were here. Sad. They gave us a bottle of champagne but we aren’t drinkers so a breakfast deal would have been a sweeter deal or at least talk it through with us.
