Arguably the oldest, continuously operating recording studio in America, SugarHill Studios in Houston has witnessed the beginnings of stellar careers, the birth of musical genres and the recording of many hits in its 72 year history. Over the years Willie Nelson, The Rolling Stones, Todd Rundgren, Freddy Fender, Asleep at the Wheel and many more have laid down tracks in these hallowed halls. Beyoncé Knowles cut her first tracks and her first albums with Destiny's Child here in Studio A. The Big Bopper tracked "Chantilly Lace" in studio B. The list goes on and on. #LocalGem
