"The location is wonderful- among the labyrinth of Stone Town. The breakfast is an interesting spread of offerings and offerings of cooked foods. Our room was near the top of the lovely narrow stairs adjacent to the coffee, tea, and water station. The rooms were very comfortable and beautifully decorated. "Stone Town is over rated. The area is dirty, the buildings' facades are falling apart. The public parks and beaches are mostly dirty, with garbage everywhere. I wouldn't suggest to stay there. Better stay some where else in Zanzibar and just spend one morning walking around Stone Town. The hotel air condioner was really noisy, the pillows uncomfortable. Could improve in several things. "

"The hotel is very big yet beautiful. The rooms are spacious and we were pleased to find a hairdryer in the bathroom. Evening entertainment was great but also easily avoided if required. We also enjoyed the selection of pools and meals on offer! Would highly recommend this hotel."
