The Space:

Gatherwell pairs the openness of a desert retreat with the warmth of a home made for spending time together. Vaulted ceilings and exposed wood beams give the living room its character, while large windows frame sweeping views across the surrounding hills. Polished concrete floors and comfortable, considered spaces keep the home feeling relaxed and easy to enjoy. With three bedrooms, a game room, a dedicated gym, and room to gather indoors and out, everyone can find their own pace here.

Outside, the pool and spa invite you to take in the wide hilltop views from morning through sunset. Spend the afternoon swimming, settle into the spa as the desert air cools, or gather at the fire pit after dark. A swing offers another spot to pause and look out over the landscape. The home's 5.68 acres give the outdoor spaces a sense of room and privacy, while the curated garden adds greenery and thoughtful design close to the house.



-Living Area-

The living room is the heart of Gatherwell: open, welcoming, and framed by views of the desert hills. Vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams bring warmth and scale to the space, while broad windows make the scenery part of every slow morning and relaxed evening. There is room to come together after a day exploring Joshua Tree, with a separate game room when the group is ready for a little friendly competition.



-Kitchen & Dining-

The spacious kitchen is set up for meals made together, with modern stainless steel appliances and a breakfast island bar for coffee, conversation, or a casual bite. The dining room seats 10, making it easy to linger over dinner, celebrate an occasion, or bring everyone around the table at the end of the day.



-Bedrooms & Bathrooms-

Gatherwell has three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The spacious primary suite has a king bed, an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub and large shower, and a private, restful feel. The second bedroom also has a king bed, an en suite bathroom, and a couch that offers additional sleeping space. The third bedroom has a queen bed and its own couch. With two en suites and a third full bathroom, the layout works especially well for families or friends traveling together.



-Surrounding Area-

From this hilltop setting in Yucca Valley, you can spend your days exploring Joshua Tree National Park's trails and rock formations, browsing local shops and galleries, or heading toward Pioneertown for dinner and live music. Nearby Flamingo Heights and Landers offer memorable dining and the Integratron's sound bath experience. Then come home to open desert views, a swim, and a quiet evening together.

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets inside the home remain locked and house supplies for the rental.

Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



Please note that the last 0.5 miles will be on a dirt road. While the road is maintained and all vehicles can drive on the dirt road (4-wheel drive is not necessary), please take it slow to respect our neighbors and not kick up dust. Please note that the dirt roads may have bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms.



Other Things to Note:

-Fireplaces-

Please note that the fireplaces in the living room and the primary bedroom are decorative and non-operational. Please do not attempt to use them.



No fee to heat the hot tub!



-Hot Tub Heating-

Please note that because the hot tub is an in-ground hot tub, it is not heated constantly in order to conserve energy. It will take around 30 minutes to heat to 104 degrees from ambient temperature.

-Wildlife & Safety-

The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it’s important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.



-Security Camera-

There is a security camera mounted on top of the garage in order to monitor the quantity of people and cars on the property, so we may ensure compliance with local ordinances. There are no security cameras in any private areas of the home or backyard.



-Late Check Out-

Any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee for the first hour, with an additional $100 charged for every hour thereafter.
