"Our stay was very enjoyable! Looks just like the photos. The hot tub and star gazing was amazing after a long day hiking in the park. We arrived at night due to timing of our trip and it was very challenging to navigate the road leading up to the house, so agree that it’s best to arrive during the during the sunlight hours if you can. Definitely recommend a car with four wheel drive. I would recommend others to stay here!"

"My friends, family, and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Desert Shire! The house itself was very clean and well kept, essentials like TP and towels were provided and in abundance which was appreciated for a party of 7. Tile work in bathroom was amazing! Rooms were equipped with awesome A/C units that kept us cool after hiking around JT and Pioneertown (both extremely close by and convenient) and the beds were very comfy!! Outside had really comfy hammock chairs and ample seating around fire pit...

"This is a beautiful house on a wonderful piece of property. Our family and friends (10 adults) stayed here and loved staying here. In addition to a reunion, we were attending the Joshua Tree Music Festival about 20 minutes away. The house was wonderful to return to after a day of music. It is tastefully furnished, beautifully lit and has a big kitchen and outdoor grilling; we had both breakfasts and dinners on the delightful outdoor patio. "The location of this home is amazing, being near Joshua Tree and right across the street from hiking. The home is as nice as portrayed in the ad, with plenty of space for a variety of activities. The home is well equipped and very nicely decorated. We didn't experience any issues with the home during our stay and the owners were quick to respond and easy to communicate with."
